Unholy Covenants
This is Part 4 of a series of blogs on “Coming out of Babylon.”
Unholy covenants bind us to the governments of men and make us their slaves. The third time that Yeshua was tempted in the wilderness he was asked by Satan to make unholy covenants. Satan show him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory and all Yeshua had to do was bow down and worship Satan and those kingdoms would be his. But Yeshua knew the scriptures (the law and the Prophets) too well to be tricked into serving Satan.
Again the Devil takes Yeshua to a very high mountain, and shows to him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him. I will give all these things to you if falling down, you will worship me. Then Yeshua said to him, “Go, Satan! For it has been written: You shall worship YHVH your God, and you shall serve Him only.” (Mat 4:8-10)
Notice, worship and service go hand in hand.
In the last part of this series on “Coming Out” we saw that Babylon is not a place but rather it is an attitude. Babylon from the beginning was all about rebellion to YHVH and His ways; could this be the same spirit of rebellion to YHVH’s ways that was brought to us in the garden by Satan himself? Instead of acknowledging YHVH’s ways we promote our own ways instead, and in so doing give our worship and service to Satan.
We only have two choices as to whom we will serve. We either serve in YHVH’s kingdom or we serve in one of Satan’s kingdoms. This reminds me of an old Bob Dylan song “You Gotta Serve Somebody.”
There are many that “say” they are YHVH’s but who actually serve the kingdoms of world and promote only them. Isn’t this exactly what Yeshua said.
Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, “This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do. And he said unto them, full well you reject the commandments of God, that you may keep your own traditions. (Mar 7:6-9)
It is the unholy covenants which we have with the world that bind us to it and prevents us from serving only our Father and keeping His ways. Yeshua told Israel to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; but most folks overlook the other half of Yeshua’s statement which concludes with these words, “and to Elohim the things that are His.” What if we set up our lives to render ALL that we are, have and will ever have to only YHVH?
Part of the declaration of independence which is appropriate for men of every nation, tribe and tongue says these words.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator [YHVH] with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. — That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
I chose long ago to give my consent only to the government instituted by YHVH, and our consent to being a part of that government is what repentance is all about. For prior to our repentance we gave our consent and lived and served in the governments of men. Granted that consent for most was by default, by doing what everyone else does in the broad road. But now, through repentance, we have joined ourselves to the commonwealth of Israel which is YHVH’s eternal kingdom.
Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called uncircumcision by what is called the circumcision made in the flesh by hands—that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. (Eph 2:11-12)
Repentance, followed by baptism is an expatriation from the kingdom of our first birth (a kingdom of men) into the kingdom of YHVH (True Israel). THIS leaving of one kingdom and joining of ourselves to another is the circumcision of the heart. The reason we are to be baptized in only Yeshua’s name is because he is the King of Israel who leads and rules according to all of YHVH’s commandments, statutes and judgments.
Covenants, covenants and more covenants! These are the ties that yoke us and bind us to the kings and kingdoms of this world. But Paul said that we were not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers; and that when we finally do “come out” of our Babylonian ways and covenants we could truly become YHVH’s people, and eventually become His sons and daughters.
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership does righteousness have with lawlessness? And what fellowship does light have with darkness? And what agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever? And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, “I will” dwell in them and “walk among them, and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.” Lev 26:12; Eze 37:27 Because of this, “come out from among them” “and be separated,” says YHVH, “and do not touch the unclean thing,” and I will receive you. Isa 52:11 “And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons” and daughters to Me, says YHVH Almighty. 2 Sam 7:8, 14; Isa 43:6 (2Co 6:14-18)
We have sold ourselves!
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your sons. (Hos 4:6)
For thus says YHVH: “You have sold yourselves for nothing, And you shall be redeemed without money.” For thus says the Lord YHVH: “My people went down at first Into Egypt to dwell there; then the Assyrian [the Assyrian is coming soon] oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here,” says YHVH, “That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them make them wail,” says YHVH, “And My name is blasphemed continually, every day. (Isa 52:3-5)
How is YHVH’s name “blasphemed continually, everyday”? By “saying” we are His but being obligated by our covenants to follow in the ways of Babylon instead of only His ways. As I said in “Who is your elohim?“; when we say we are his but follow the ways of men, we are taking His name in vain. That is exactly what the second commandment tells us not to do.
YHVH tells us to loose ourselves.
Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! (Isa 52:2)
In my opinion the most pervasive and least understood of all the unholy covenants folks have which bind them to the systems of the world is their state ID; their driver’s license. The majority of people entered into this covenant before they were even 18 years old and believe it is just evidence that they know how to drive. But the fact of the matter is that this seemingly innocent looking piece of paper is a covenant willingly made that binds them to far more that the “Rules of the Road”; it is evidence of the true jurisdictional authority which they have inadvertently, chosen for their lives. This covenant does not only binds them to the driving regulations but it also holds them accountable to ALL the state codes and regulations which now exist AND to all that will exist in the future, no matter how unrighteous they may be.
Where will it all end if we continue to believe the lie that says that by serving the elohim of this world we are somehow serving YHVH? The state can pass a law which requires you to get a federal ID and then can pass a law that requires a World ID and finally, yet another law will requires you to worship the beast. This is a never-ending cycle of wickedness on the broad road that can only end in the destruction of all who continue on this path. When do we finally say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” and begin to come out from among them?
I began coming out of the world/Babylon in 2000 when I saw how the covenants I had entered into would eventually destroy me and my family. I have not had a valid state drivers license or SSN since that time. We can live without these covenants with the world. But only those who seek YHVH’s kingdom and His righteous will find a way to do it.
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Mat 6:31-33
Loving YHVH and obeying only YHVH go hand in hand. We can only serve one master.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. (1Jn 2:15-17)
Can we drive without a state drivers license? You may be very surprised to see what you find out in coming weeks.

Michael, how can we possible see/understand the fullness of this teaching without knowing not to be the TRUTH. For only the truth will set us free. How we need to make a choice and indeed loosen OURSELF from the unholy covenants we made. I am so hungry to live for our Creators statues and ordinances in His Kingdom reign here on earth. May He grant me understanding and wisdom to follow in all His truth, and through this love for Him my beloved husband will find His place leading our family as one called of YHVH.

Haman appears to me to be a shadow picture of the anti-christ or perhaps the false prophet. Listen to what he has to say about YHVH’s people.
