(5) The Sealing of the 144,000

Continued from:

Last Days Sequence of Events Overview

(1) Will the True Passover Initiate the Great Tribulation?

(2) A Nation Born In A Day?

(3) ISRAEL the STATE can’t stand!

(4) The Abomination

(5) The Sealing

After the everlasting, the eternal, the taw-meed is taken away by the false prophet and the abomination that will bring desolation is set up, the servants of the living Elohim are going to be sealed in their foreheads and then be exalted, by Yehovah, like a banner in the wilderness.

After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God (Elohim). And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our Elohim on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the sons of Israel were sealed. (Rev 7:1-4)

If you will recall from part (2) these men represent the nation that is “born in a day,” and that day is Passover. They are the first fruits of the wheat harvest and a new start of a spiritual matrix; they are the man-child, who have been set apart unto Yehovah and His throne.

She bore a male child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her child was caught up [more correctly "claimed," "seized" or "set apart" for one's self eagerly] to Elohim and His throne. (Rev 12:5)

Then Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying, “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the sons of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.” And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Yehovah brought you out of this place. … And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, ‘This is done because of what Yehovah did for me when I came up from Egypt.’ It shall be as a sign [Jeff Benner says, it is a "Mark: The sign of an agreement between two parties"] to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that Yehovah’s law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Yehovah has brought you out of Egypt. (Exo 13:1-9)

It, the mark, is the Exodus 12 instructions.

Being claimed by Elohim and His throne reminds me of the Father claiming His segullah, His special treasure in Exodus 19.

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel. (Exo 19:5-6)

For you are a holy people to Yehovah your Elohim, and Yehovah has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. (Deu 14:2)

These men through Yehovah’s spirit will give protection, provision and instruction in righteousness to all [the woman] who will join with them in the prearranged locations. They are the true watchmen who will see eye to eye when Yehovah brings back Zion.

Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by Elohim, that they [the man-child, the first-born] should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. (Rev 12:6)

I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them [teaching them the way of life]; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says Yehovah. (Jer 23:4)

Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when Yehovah brings back Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem [Jerusalem is often a people not a place]! For Yehovah has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem. Yehovah has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our Elohim. (Isa 52:8-10)

As I have said in the past, all Yehovah’s feasts are still important; and His servants, His special treasure, will be sealed on Shavuot (aka, the feast of Weeks and Pentecost). They are the first fruits of what is to come.

They sang, as it were, a new song [the ancient song of righteousness] before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being first fruits to Elohim and to the lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of Elohim. (Rev 14:3-5)

On this day His 144,000 servants will be sealed with Yehovah’s spirit and they will become His shaliachs/messengers. At that time all the earth will begin to see the work of Yehovah on behalf of His people. The first message that these men bring is “Fear Yehovah, for the hour of His judgment has come!”

Then I saw another angel [messenger] flying in the midst of heaven [that is where the 144,000 dwell], having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—saying with a loud voice, “Fear Elohim and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” (Rev 14:6-7)

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of Yehovah is coming, for it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations. (Joe 2:1-2)

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your Elohim reigns!” (Isa 52:7)

Your Elohim reigns!” Not anti-christ!

“And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; for the Gentiles shall seek him, and his resting place shall be glorious.” It shall come to pass in that day that the Lord (master) shall set His hand again a second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Assyria and Egypt, from Pathros and Cush, from Elam and Shinar, from Hamath and the islands of the sea. He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Isa 11:10-12)

“Go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says Yehovah: “I remember you, the kindness of your youth, the love of your betrothal, when you went after Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown. Israel was holiness to Yehovah, the first fruits of His increase. All that devour him will offend; disaster will come upon them,” says Yehovah.’ ” Hear the word of Yehovah, O house of Jacob and all the families of the house of Israel. (Jer 2:2-4)

These men are described everywhere in the prophets but Joel 2, and Isaiah 4 lets us know where these men can be found after they are sealed. Just watch for the pillar of smoke by day and the pillar of fire by night.

When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning, then Yehovah will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion [again, a holy people], and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain. (Isa 4:4-6)

“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My spirit on all flesh [Israel's flesh, not the world's]; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on your men servants and on your maidservants I will pour out My spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. (Joe 2:28-30)

If you are not one of the 144,000, getting to them as quickly as possible in the midst of the chaos is going to make the difference between living until the end, while avoiding all the curses that will come on the earth throughout the tribulation, and experiencing them first hand. The difference between eating your sons and daughters and rejoicing like a stall-fed calf.

The next installment in this series is (6) The Desolation / Babylon has Fallen; a shaking which will turn the world into a wilderness and a desolation and be the precursor of the False Messiah.
