Today is the 1st day of the 6th month according to YHVH’s calendar. Judaism has this day as the beginning a 40 day period of repentance leading up to the 10th day of the 7th month which is Yom Kippurim, the day of coverings (aka Day of Atonement). But where is this 40 days of repentance in the Torah? Doesn’t that bother anyone? Is this man-made period just another buffer set up in Judaism to protect the Torah by adding days? Is that allowed?

You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. (Deu 4:2)

Yom Kippurim is for a covering of all Israel. To me, it seems as though the 1st day of the 6th month is a replacement by Judaism for what is supposed to be happening on the 1st day of 7th month according to Torah. That day, is the Day of Shouting, warning and alarm! Wake up! Repent! Join yourself to Israel before it is too late!

Repentance is the only way that anyone can join themselves to YHVH’s holy nation, True Israel; those that are learning to follow only His ways instead of their own or any other man-made ways.

One day soon on the 10th day of the 7th month (Yom Kippurim) Yeshua our high priest will finish the coverings service and come out of the holy place in the heavenly temple and throw his censer to the earth and say,

He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. (Rev 22:11-12)

Once Yeshua comes out on that critical day no one will ever be able to repent again.

People forget! – 40 (30 + 10) days may be too long for them to remember – is that why YHVH’s planned for only 10? Hmm, I wonder.
