Spiritual Seed

Spiritual Seed, Benai Israel, children of Israel, sons of Israel,Over 10 times in Genesis Yehovah’s promises to give Abraham, Isaac and Jacob ” land” and “seed”. But what we fail to understand is that this seed is not women, nor is this seed all men; this seed is a “spiritual seed.” Here are a few examples.

Abram’s Seed Is Spiritual Seed

And Yehovah appeared unto Abram, and said, “Unto thy seed [זרע, zeh-rah] will I give this land: and there built he an altar unto Yehovah, who appeared unto him.” (Gen 12:7)

For all the land which thou sees, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed [זרע, zeh-rah] for ever. (Gen 13:15)

In the same day Yehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, “Unto thy seed [זרע, zeh-rah] have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.” (Gen 15:18)

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed [זרע, zeh-rah], I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swore unto Abraham thy father. (Gen 26:3)

Yehovah, the creator of all things, owns it all; the whole earth is His, including its inhabitants!

The earth is Yehovah’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. Psa 24:1

His land and the ruler-ship of those who dwell in His land, He will give to His heir, His son, His spiritual seed soon. The question we must ask ourselves is “Who is this spiritual seed?

This zeh-rah [זרע] is a Hebrew word meaning seed.

H2233
ֶזַרע
zera‛: A masculine noun meaning sowing, seed, descendants, offspring, children, and posterity.

This seed, whether it is one or many is still seed.

Beni Israel Is Spiritual Seed

In Yehovah’s kingdom seed is always to produce after its own kind; whether it is plant seed, animal seed and man seed. But in Yehovah’s kingdom there is a 4th kind of seed; a spiritual seed. This spiritual seed is the Ezrach, the born in the land man, the native-born man in Yehovah’s Kingdom. Just as seed can be one seed or many seed, so the Ezrach, the spiritual seed and son of Yehovah, has no plural form. Only this seed is Israel. Yehovah commanded this spiritual seed to be fruitful and multiply.

[Note: I have written much about how a Gentile man becomes a Ger (stranger), and then how the Ger becomes the Ezrach, spiritual seed. And also how only a spiritual man can bear spiritual seed.]

Beni Israel is translated by most people as “the children of Israel,” and there was a time in my life that I accepted that translation without question; after all, “What did I know?” But as I began to study and really apply myself to learning the Hebrew scriptures many inconsistencies in translating these two Hebrew words as “the children of Israel” began to show themselves.

First, I saw that the commandments were only given to men, not women. And even at that time I had still not seen that they were not even given to all the men in our camp; they were only given to His son, the Ezrach, beni Israel, His spiritual seed. So at that time I began calling beni Israel, “the sons of Israel.”

But I still saw problems with this understanding. All the males in our camp do not own land; some are sons, some are servants and some are the Ger (stranger) who dwells with us (the spiritual seed) who do own the land. Woman never own land in Yehovah’s kingdom! This is what the story concerning the daughters of Zelophehad  is all about.

In addition to this problem, I realized that “beni Israel” has no definite article “the’; there is never any “the” used in connection with this phrase.

So with those realizations, along with many others, I was forced to deepen my understandings, once again, concerning who beni Israel actually is. And at that time I started writing “My son, Israel” based on the Hebrew letter “yud” saying “my” as a suffix to the noun “ben” or “son,” with the understanding that these spiritual men, Israel, were His son. But while that understanding flowed well with most of the scriptures, there were a few that were awkward.

Next, I began calling these spiritual men “Israel’s son“; and THAT understanding worked everywhere! But I still had a problem and that problem has to do with communicating a Hebrew understanding into an English understanding. Because beni Israel is “Israel’s son” not “Israel’s sons,” every time I went to write it I was almost forced to discuss the plural “he” or male-child. This spiritual seed, “he,” is a people.

For from the top of the rocks I see him, And from the hills I behold him; There! A people dwelling alone, not reckoning itself among the nations. (Num 23:9)

Beni Israel Is “Israel’s Seed!

The day that I taped this Sabbath class Yehovah gave me the answer to my problem with using the “son’ vs “sons”  just as I was waking. In the word beni, as in beni Israel, we are talking about a multi-generational seed of men who Yehovah speaks to, who own His land, who bear sons and daughters and who also produce spiritual seed after their own kind. Beni Israel is “Israel’s seed!”

So  beni Esau, beni Jacob, beni Ishmael are all the multi-generational seed of men who come from their respective fathers.

This is a special edition of my Sabbath class in that we discuss the things that are missed in the Hebrew scriptures concerning gender because of our lack of understanding and thus our inability to see the truth right before our eyes. We went almost 3 hours today and discussed “the people” or “ha-am” and the role of a woman in Yehovah’s kingdom.

So much to learn, so little time. Please take the time to listen, or download and listen to this teaching later. If you love Yehovah’s word, you will be glad you did.
