The Grace of God – For two days running I had a dream. Just before I awoke I saw that my dear friend Grace was coming to her end. Oh how my heart ached at the sight of her appearance, so thin and frail I could hardly see her. And though she was only a five letter word I understood that she would be greatly missed.
She lives as a friend to everyone, but is taken for granted by most; including many who even said they know her personally. There are many who speak well of her and who used words like “amazing” and “sweet” to describe her. She helps the deaf to hear, the blind to see and even dabbled in a bit of heart surgery.
The Grace of God Passes
At her passing I wept, because I knew all hope for the wicked had passed also. She was the Creator’s beloved daughter who gave all that she had to anyone who would turn from their ways to her Dad’s eternal and unchanging ways. She gave, gave, gave and never asked for anything in return; as long as people would continue to learn and do her Father’s ways she was happy and content.
Of course, the Grace of God has not passed for the wicked yet and there is still time for people to get to know her personally by repenting / turning to Yehovah’s instructions given for all men. I know that the spirit of my dear friend, the Grace of God, will go on forever for those who love Yehovah and will keep His commandments.
But there is a time coming, soon, when the Grace of God will cease to be found by the wicked who refuse to follow Yehovah’s ways given to us through Moses. Just like it ceased in the time of Noah.
“But Noah found Grace in the eyes of Yehovah. This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with Elohim (God).” (Gen 6:8-9)
“So the daughter of Zion [those who made Grace their sister] is left as a booth in a vineyard, as a hut in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city. Unless Yehovah of hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been made like Gomorrah. Hear the word of Yehovah, you rulers of Sodom; give ear to the law [the Torah] of our Elohim (lawmaker, judge), you people of Gomorrah.” (Isa 1:8-10)
This world will again pass away soon, along with all the wicked people in it who will not turn, through repentance, and join themselves to Yehovah and His people (Israel) and keep His eternal and unchanging ways.
Lot was taken out of Sodom just in time; but I fear most will make a poor decision in hoping that they too can wait until the last seconds to leave their Gomorrah. Please, never forget that Elohim is not mocked!
“Do not be deceived, Elohim is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh [following men and their ways] will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the spirit [following Yehovah and His ways] will of the spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (Gal 6:7-9)
“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled Elohim’s seed underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which He was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of Grace?” (Heb 10:26-29)
People are passing every day, now is the time to get to know the Grace of God by turning wholly to the Creator’s ways!
“Now therefore, I pray, if I have found Grace in Thy sight, show me now Thy way, that I may know Thee and that I may find grace in Thy sight. And consider that this nation is Thy people.” (Exo 33:13)
