Did Yeshua Make The Word Flesh?

word made flesh, John 1 14, who is Jesus, who is Yeshua, word fleshIf Yeshua made the word flesh, then what word did he embody? Certainly not the commentaries of Paul, Peter, James, John or Jude; they had not written a thing before Yeshua was born!

No, the words which Yeshua made flesh, the words he taught and lived were the Law (the Torah (Yehovah’s instruction on how all men are to live) and the Prophets; they are the words that we are not to add to or subtract from. The very word that Yeshua said that He did not come to change; not even one jot or one tittle!

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away [we are still here], one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Mat 5:17-19)

“Now, O Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I teach you to observe, that you may live, and go in and possess the land which Yehovah (the LORD) Elohim (God) of your fathers is giving you. You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yehovah your Elohim which I command you.” (Deu 4:1-2)

Yet many of us, myself included until I was 45 years old, have not even read — much more know — much more understand — anything about the words which are to be made flesh. This is a travesty! Isn’t this neglect of the Creator’s word, hypocrisy or perhaps even taking His name in vain if we “say” we know Yehovah but do not know His word?  Yehovah’s word, for a man, is life.

For the commandments are a lamp, and the Torah a light; reproofs of instruction are the way of life. (Pro 6:23)

“The man” was created to be the image of Yehovah; but “the man” went his own way and perverted Yehovah’s image and His kingdom through disobedience and since that time man has been created in the image of fallen man. Being born in the image of this fallen man is every man’s first birth, a birth of water through our mother’s womb.

“So Yehovah created “the man”in His own image; in the image of Yehovah He created him; male and female He created them.” (Gen 1:27)

“And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.” (Gen 5:3)

Yeshua’s message from the start was “Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

“Now after John was put in prison, Yeshua came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of Elohim, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of Elohim is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.’ ” (Mar 1:14-15)

If we say that we know Yehovah and we subtract from or add to any of His word, then we have created a false image in our minds of who Yehovah really is. By taking away the Sabbath (or anything else in Moses and the Prophets) or by changing it in any way we distort the image of Yehovah, the Elohim of the earth.

But, if we exalt only the Yehovah’s word above all else, we, like Yeshua, exalt Yehovah and His eternal and unchanging word given through Moses and His other Prophets. There are many who “say” that they know Yehovah.

“Yeshua answered and said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ”This people honors Me [Yehovah, the Creator] with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. In vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.’ [Yeshua continues in his own words] For laying aside the commandment of Elohim, you hold the tradition of men— the washing of pitchers and cups, [the changing or ignoring of the Sabbath], and many other such things you do.’ He said to them, ‘All too well you reject the commandment of Elohim, that you may keep your tradition’. ” (Mar 7:6-9)

Every Man Was Created To Make Yehovah’s Word Flesh In Their Life

Men, do you want to know the Creator? Then learn to make His word flesh in your life.

Through repentance we begin to learn and do the Creator’s ways which were delivered to us through Moses and His other Prophets; only then can we come to know Yehovah and truly begin to make His word flesh for all to see.

  1. YAHUSHA was The walking, talking, breathing Torah scroll! I am holding this post in high regard. We will preach and preach and preach until someone hears and their life is changed, just like ours has been and continues to be! Thank you

  2. EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS! Some of the scripture you used (John 5 specifically) is exactly what I’ve been studying the last couple weeks. It is so difficult to understand why people are blind to this. Yes, I understand why basically, but when… you present it in such a way that the truth is so obvious, they refuse to see it and stumble over the Word! Blatantly ignoring the scriptures, they choose the lies inherited by our fathers! I want to always be open to truth and pray that I walk in humility! Seems to me a lot of this problem is simply pride. Thanks brother!

  3. Michael,

This teaching article is again so plain and simply eloquent and brilliant. There is nothing added or taken away, simply the unadulterated Word of Truth of our Elohim.

This is the way we are to be edified and built up, trained and taught by teachers called and anointed by the spirit of YHVH, A Holy nation/Israel a Royal priesthood ,for such a time as this.

Thank you for your faithfulness and diligence,

    Yochanan ben Stygler

  4. Awesome study Michael, as usual right on target! :0) May YAH continue to Bless you & yours abundantly increase your wisdom & anointing!

  5. Good work Michael.  I agree with it.  I "see" what you are teaching.  I also "see" this: The Joy my King gives to me when I seek Him and obey what He has expressed as His will for me as I study the scriptures.   The more I seek Him, the closer I get to Him and He rewards me with nugets of understanding that give me great joy.  I freely admit that I am not the only one.  I am impressed with something that Andrew Murray taught regarding all of the Apostles: they each had a great personal affection for Christ. that affection fueled their own walk to martyrdom for all but two of them.   I believe we develop the same as the Holy Spirit reveals Christ to us, and through Christ we learn of the Father.  I love the scripture of Deut. 5:29.  I have seen a glimpse of the great heart of my God that was proved out in the provision and sacrifice of Christ.  What Love!  John 17:26 says that same love the Father has for His son Jesus will be in Us.  What Love!  We can't help but Love the Word of God!  He is so wonderful!  My King is so truly wonderful!  Y'shua HaMashiach, Kadosh atah!  Daniel 7:9-14

  6. Thnak you for sharing your thoughts with me.  I can follow what you are saying.
However, because I come from a Dutch Reform background where we kept to the teachings of the Old Testement as well as the Gospel.  We were also familiar with the teeachings of Andrew Murray who was a promoter of the full bible and very much as a follwer of the law.
We have been born again and baptised Christians for the last 7 years.  During this time we have followed Ps John Hagee's passion for Israel.  Hence the reason we are part of a messianic jewish congregation called beit Y'shua in Johannesburg.
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

  7. Shalom Michael,
what a moving teaching, and one which should not be just read once and lets move on to the next. But may we continue to seek Yah for wisdom and understanding in what we have heard this day.

As for me , I am taking away this with me about saying ” I know Him”… How well do I really know Him?
And how much room there is to really get to know Him, as I am growing in doing His commandments. Because I love Him , and want to do the will of my Father in this life what He has given me so very generously.
    Forever thankful Abba !
