They sang, as it were, a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. (4) These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow
the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being first-fruits to Godand to the Lamb. (Rev 14:3-4)
Oh, how I hate reading the New Testament (NT); and much more, trying to make sense of it. Because of it we have learned and believed many things, lies, that have no foundation in Yehovah’s eternal and unchanging words given through His servant Moses and His other Prophets.
Yehovah said through Isaiah,
To the Torah [Yehovah’s word given to Moses] and to the testimony [Yehovah’s words given to His other prophets]! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. (Isa 8:20)
Revelation 14:4 is one of the main reasons I deleted my original video entitled “144,000 – virgin of Israel.” The NT would have you believe that Yehovah’s message to the world is all about this man who people call “the lamb;” but that man who Christians and Messianics worship is nothing more than a “golden calf” who was given to them by the Catholic Church to turn them away for doing what the Creator expects from men and their women.
The song which these faithful men will sing, “seems” like a new song; but it is really the song of Moses reminding Yehovah’s people NOT to follow any other lawmaker and judge but Him.
We saw in part 1 and in part 2 of this series, that “the virgin” has nothing to do with His servants’ sexual nature and EVERYTHING to do with who they serve and their 2nd / spiritual birth. Everything born of the flesh will return to the dust. but that which is born of the spirit will have life eternal.
So what does it mean to be “defiled with women?” Again, the minds of most people will turn to the flesh and assume that since “defiled with women” is used in the same sentence as the word “virgins” that it must have something to do with sex. AUGH!
I took two years of Koine Greek in college; I did not enjoy it then and I enjoy it even less now. If only I had spent my time learning ancient Hebrew. Why learn the language of the perverted commentaries when we can learn the language of the Creator? The word being translated in the verse above as “defiled” in the Greek is the word “moluno.”
G3435 μολυÌνω
moluno
To defile, besmear or soil as with mud or filth (1Co 8:7; Rev 3:4; Rev 14:4).
Syn.:
miaÃnÅ (G3392), to stain;
spilóÅ (G4695), to spot, pollute;
phtheÃrÅÂ (G5351), to corrupt.
Ant.:
katharÃzÅ (G2511), to cleanse.(WordStudy)
Moluno has nothing to do with sex and EVERYTHING to do with being soiled, corrupted and muddied. It is only used 2 other times in the NT, neither of which has any sexual overtones. Here they are.
But not everyone knows this truth. Some people have been so used to idols that to this day when they eat such food they still think of it as food that belongs to an idol; their conscience is weak, and they feel they are defiled by the food. 1Co 8:7
Please don’t think you understand this verse without understanding Leviticus 17 and what Yehovah says about “Meat ‘sacrificed’ to ‘idols’.” The main point here is for us to understand that there are no sexual overtones here, their conscience is weak, and they “feel” they are “defiled by the food.”
The other place is Revelation 3:4.
You have a few names [men] even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. Rev 3:4
This, in fact, is the opposite (not moluno). What is the opposite in this case? “Walking with Yehovah in “white,” their garments are the garments of righteousness.
As Yehovah sanctifies His holy men, His called-out ones, so also a man sanctifies his woman (there is no word for wife in Torah) by the washing of the word.
Being defiled with women is the opposite of becoming a glorious nation without spot or wrinkle. Instead of the man sanctifying his woman by cleansing her by the washing of water with the word. His woman is defiling, besmearing, soiling or otherwise blackening her man by encouraging him to go a way he should not. She is encouraging her man to live according to his flesh, instead of his higher nature.
Sarai defiled Abram by suggesting that he take Hagar in order to produce a seed, instead of waiting for Yehovah’s promised seed; and he listened to her – AUGH!
Now Sarai, Abram’s woman, bare him no son: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said unto Abram, “Behold now, Yehovah hath restrained me from bearing; go in, I pray thee, unto my handmaid; it may be that I shall build by her.†And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. (Gen 16:1-2)
Notice Abram was not Abraham, and Sarai was not Sarah yet; they were both, as it were, still living in their flesh according to the lower nature.
Solomon too, in the end, was defiled with women.
And he had seven hundred woman, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his women turned away his heart. For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his women turned his heart after other elohim; and his heart was not loyal to Yehovah his Elohim, as was the heart of his father David. 1Ki 11:3-4
Now, speaking of David: Remember I said David is a shadow picture of the NT’s “144,000,” and the ones referred to as Israel, the male-child, the banners, the branch, His servants, the good shepherds, the prophet like Moses and many other name in the Torah and in the Prophets.
David arrives with the ark of Yehovah
David has just brought the ark of Yehovah into His city. It is one of the best days of his life and he is coming home to “bless his family.” But his 1st woman, Michal, tried to defile him when he arrived home. She was angry because he danced uncovered before Yehovah and the maids of the land. Listen to the sarcasm drip from her lips as she speaks.
Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” (2Sa 6:20)
“What will the neighbors think?!”
David, however, is not going to be defiled by this woman, one of many in his household. Listen to his reply to her.
So David said to Michal, “It was before Yehovah [that I danced], who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of Yehovah, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before Yehovah. And I will be even more undignified than this, and I will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by [even] them I will be held in honor.” Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death. (2Sa 6:21-23)
Perhaps Michal had no child because David never “went in” to her again? David was not going to be defiled with women, and especially not the daughter of Saul. David was not held in honor by the daughter of Saul, and I think it was because of a prideful and Jezebel spirit that caused her to forget her place before her master.
Is it possible that man is the head of his woman because a woman is more pragmatic and thus, more likely to be led according to her lower nature and is more prone to follow the broad paths of life? Could this be why a woman is created to be a “suitable aide” instead of a co-leader or, worse yet, a leader of the family? Could this be part of the reason why the kingdoms of the world are currently in such a mess?
As for My people, infants are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.” (Isa 3:12)
According to the state, a woman is an equal partner in all decisions. Is that what the Creator intended?
The answer is an emphatic “NO!” A man’s sin is on him; as bone of a man’s bone and flesh of a man’s flesh, what a man’s woman does, he does; she is he! And since her sin is on him, he can not allow himself to be defiled with any of his women. This defiling is also what happened with “the man.” and his woman in Genesis 3.
I have one more thing that I would like to discuss pertaining to these amazing and set-apart men of the last days. What does it mean to be “redeemed from the earth?” We will talk about that next time.
