Genesis 36 – Esau’s Women and Seed

Genesis 36, mistakes in Torah, perversions in Torah, who were Esau's wives, wives of EsauGenesis 36 has more bad information in it than any other chapter in Torah (though there are several chapters in Deuteronomy that take a close second). In this article I am going to focus on only four verses (v.2-5) to illustrate the bulk of the perversions in Genesis 36.

In my Sabbath class (video below) I did not directly address all the discrepancies in Genesis 36 :2-4. For this reason I have included my findings here for the inquiring minds who want to know more.

Genesis 36 Verse 2

In my New King James Version, verse 2 says:

Esau took his wives [his women, there is no word for “wife” in Torah] from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite; Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite; (Genesis 36 2)

“The daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite”? (Genesis 36 2) Who ever heard of a “daughter of Anah” (a man) who is a “daughter of Zibeon” (yet another man)? More on Adah later.

Let’s remember who Canaan’s seed actually are.

Jasher 7:13 And Canaan’s seed were Zidon, Heth [חת, khet], Amori, Gergashi, Hivi [חוי], Arkee, Seni, Arodi, Zimodi and Chamothi.

Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth [חת, khet] (the Jebusite), the Amorite, and the Girgashite; the Hivite [החוי, khiv·vee], the Arkite, and the Sinite; the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were dispersed. (Gen 10:15-18 NKJV)

Khet “the Jubusite”? How is Khet a Jubusite? He is the son of Canaan. What is up with that? Many times the torah lists the Hittites and the Jubusites together, but they seem to be one in the same. Khet is the father of the “Hittites” really “Khittites“, but where do the people called “the Horites” or “The Khorites“[החרי] come from? Horite or Khorite may be another name for a Hivite.

Hivi [חוי, khiv·vee] is the father of the Khivites, and like Khet, is a son of Canaan, the son of Ham.

These were the sons of Seir the Horite who inhabited the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These were the chiefs of the Horites, the sons of Seir, in the land of Edom. (Gen 36:20-21)

But Zibeon not only had a brother named Anah, he also had a son named Anah.

These are Zibeon’s seed: Both Ajah and Anah. (Genesis 36 24)

These were Anah’s seed [benai Adah] was Dishon and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah. (Genesis 36 25)

But Yasher says that Ahlibamah is the daughter of Zebeon the Hivite.

Yasher 30:23 And when Jehudith died, Esau rose up and went to Seir to hunt in the field, as usual, and Esau dwelt in the land of Seir for a long time.
24 And in the sixth year Esau took for a woman, in addition to his other women, Ahlibamah, the daughter of Zebeon the Hivite, and Esau brought her to the land of Canaan.

Again, is Zibeon a Hivite / Khorite or a Khittite (Hittite)?

But now, a dozen verses later in Yasher, it says Ahlibamah is the daughter of Anah, the son of Sier.

Yasher 30:36 36 And the son of Anah, the son of Seir, were Dishon and his sister Ahlibamah.

So was Aholibamah the daughter of Zibeon or Anah, Zibeon’s brother or Anah, Zibeon’s son’s daughter? The identity of Aholibamah is important because this union (Esau’s 4th wife) represents yet another covenant between Seir the Horite and Esau.

Genesis 36 verse 2 is the first time both Ahah and Aholibamah are mentioned in Torah; and both are only mentioned in Genesis 36.

So. if Aholibamah is Esau’s 4th woman, who were the other 3?

At 40 Esau Took Judith As His 1st Woman

In Genesis 26 we read:

When Esau was forty years old, he took as wives Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite. (Gen 26:34)

Judith is not even mentioned in Genesis 36. The reason for that is that she  did not bare Esau any sons and Genesis 36 is all about Esau’s seed.

Yasher 28:22 And Esau there saw in the land of Seir the daughter of a man of Canaan, and her name was Jehudith, the daughter of Beeri, son of Epher, from the families of Heth, the son of Canaan.
23 And Esau took her for his woman, and he came unto her; forty years old was Esau when he took her, and he brought her to Hebron, the land of his father’s dwelling place, and he dwelt there.

Yasher 30:21 And in the fifth year died Jehudith, the daughter of Beeri, the wife of Esau, in the land of Canaan, and she had no sons but daughters only.

It appears that a Khittite / Hittite is from the family of Khet or Heth.

Torah above said that Esau took Basemath, the daughter of Elon the Hittite, when he took Judith, the daughter of Beeri the Hittite. So if both of the women are the daughters of Khet, why does Genesis 36 verse 3 say what it says?

Genesis 36 Verse 3

and Basemath, Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth. (Genesis 36 3)

At 63, NOT 40, Esau Took Basemath (a.k.a. Bosemath, a.k.a. Adah) As His 2nd Woman

So who is Basemath? The daughter of Elon the Hittite or Ishmael’s daughter, and the sister of Nebajoth. And if she is Ishmael’s daughter and Nebajoth’s sister than how can Mahalath or Makhalat be the daughter of Ishmael and the sister of Nebajoth?

Also Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan [Judith and Basemath] did not please his father Isaac. So Esau went to Ishmael and took Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his woman in addition to the women he had. (Gen 28:8-9)

Yasher 29:43 Then he went to the house of Ishmael his uncle, and in addition to his older women he took Machlath the daughter of Ishmael, the sister of Nebayoth, for a woman.

We will talk a bit about Mahalath later, but please understand that she is the daughter of Ishmael, not Basemath.

So who is who is Adah and how does she relate to Basemath?

As I said above, Basemath or Bosmath (as Yasher calls her) and Adah are actually the same woman. Genesis 36 is the only place in Torah that Adah is even mentioned. Crazy – I know, right!? Look what Yasher says about Bosmath right after Jacob receives the blessing from Isaac and runs away for 14 years to Eber’s house.

Yasher 29:12 And when Esau saw that Jacob had fled and escaped from him, and that Jacob had cunningly obtained the blessing, then Esau grieved exceedingly, and he was also vexed at his father and mother; and he also rose up and took his woman {Judith] and went away from his father and mother to the land of Seir, and he dwelt there; and Esau saw there a woman from among the daughters of Heth {Khet, the Khiities] whose name was Bosmath, the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and he took her for his woman in addition to his first woman, and Esau called her name Adah, saying the blessing had in that time passed from him.

What a hoot! Basemath is Adah. So now we can see the foolishness in the very next verse of this utterly confusing chapter.

Genesis 36 Verse 4

Now Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, and Basemath bore Reuel. (Gen 36:4)

Yasher says:

Yasher 29:17 And in those days Adah Esau’s woman conceived and bare him a son, and Esau called the name of the son that was born unto him Eliphaz, and Esau was sixty-five years old when she bare him.

Yasher 36:21 And these are the generations of Esau that were born to him in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Esau were five.
22 And Adah bare to Esau his first-born Eliphaz, and she also bare to him Reuel, and Ahlibamah bare to him Jeush, Yaalam and Korah.

At 77 Esau Takes Mahalath As His 3rd Woman

After Jacob received the blessing and ran away to Eber’s house, he stayed there for 14 years. At 77 Jacob comes home hoping that Esau has had time to calm down. Of course Esau, the man of the flesh, is still angry and tries to kill him again.  It is then that Isaac sends Jacob to Haran to take a woman from the house of his family and not from the Canaanites. It is also at that time that Esau sends his son Eliphaz (now 13) with 10 of his uncles to kill Jacob.

After Jacob is gone Esau realizes how much Isaac and Rebekah dislike his Canaanite women and he decides to take a woman who they will approve of; and he goes to the house of Ishamel and takes his daughter Mahalath, the sister of Nebajoth.

Also Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan did not please his father Isaac. So Esau went to Ishmael and took Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his woman in addition to the women he had. Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. (Gen 28:8-10)

Yasher 29:43 Then he went to the house of Ishmael his uncle, and in addition to his older women he took Makhalath the daughter of Ishmael, the sister of Nebayoth, for a wife.

But, like Judith (now passed), Mahalath also gives Esau no sons.

Genesis 36 Verse 5

And Aholibamah bore Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah. These were the sons of Esau who were born to him in the land of Canaan. (Genesis 36 5)

Praise Yehovah! We finally have a verse with accurate information. Aholibamah does bare Esau 3 sons.

At 83 Esau Takes Aholibamah As His 4th Woman

Yasher 30:23 And when Jehudith died, Esau rose up and went to Seir to hunt in the field, as usual, and Esau dwelt in the land of Seir for a long time.
24 And in the sixth year Esau took for a woman, in addition to his other women, Ahlibamah, the daughter of Zebeon the Hivite, and Esau brought her to the land of Canaan.
25 And Ahlibamah conceived and bare unto Esau three sons, Yeush, Yaalan, and Korah.

Why Is Genesis 36 So Polluted With Misinformation?

I think that concerning our wicked brother Esau, the writer of Genesis 36 was either confused, not careful to preserve the correct lineage of Esau, or both. There are many errors and contradictions in Torah but Genesis 36 is by far the worst chapter. And this just covers the first 4 verses.

Here is my teaching on Genesis 36 and a bit of Yasher.

Yehovah’s Servants (7) Shalach – The Sent One

sent oneAnd one [a seraphim] cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is Yehovah of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man [eesh] of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Yehovah of hosts.”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.” Also I heard the voice of Yehovah, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isa 6:3-8)

Oh, how I want to say those words, “hin-Ni  she-la-Che-ni” to Yehovah; I WILL be ready when he calls because I am sold out for Him and have no covenants with any other elohim (lawmakers and judges).

[Note: This series begins here: 144,000 – Virgin of Israel]

Everyone will recognize Yehovah’s shalach or “sent one” as the last days begin; each one will have a pillar of fire and smoke over his head as a sign that Yehovah dwells with him.

The sent one is an amazing being. Ha – I said “being,” and can not think of another word to describe them; in part 2 I talked about them as being Yehovah’s khaw·seed, His kind, His seed and His heir. They are so much more than the Ger (the man who has repented, left the kingdom of his birth and joined himself to Yehovah and His seed, His born in the land men). And a Gentile, the walking dead of the earth, who still serves in the kingdom of men is nothing compared to even the Ger. But this rebellious Gentile can repent and become a Ger, and then, at Passover, he too can become Yehovah’s spiritual seed.

The shalach, Yehovah’s sent one, has His authority; the things he says, does, and the decisions he makes are all as if Yehovah had said, done and made them. Moses was a sent one of Yehovah. Many times he said and did things without specific instructions from Yehovah. Each sent one who Yehovah raises up and seals in the last days, to fulfill His purposes, will seem like a “God” to the world, just as Moses seemed to Aaron and Pharaoh.

Now you [Moses] shall speak to him [Aaron] and put the words in his mouth. And I [Yehovah] will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God [לאלהים]. (Exo 4:15-16).

So Yehovah said to Moses: “See, I have made thee Elohim [אלהים] to Pharaoh, and Aaron, thy brother, shall be thy prophet. (Exo 7:1)

The sent one whom Yehovah is raising from their dry bones, in thousand of locations all over the earth, will lead the people who join them in their gates just as Moses did. Each man who joins himself (and his family) to them will find provision, protection from the world and be taught the correct way for a man and for a woman to live on the earth. Each sent one will see eye to eye with every other sent one when Yehovah brings back Zion (His spiritual people).

Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when Yehovah brings back Zion. (Isa 52:8)

Each sent one only needs to speak, and miraculous signs will follow. I think this is the reason that Moses failed to make it into the promised land; he was supposed to “speak to the rock” the second time and instead He hit it with the rod of Elohim, just like he did to the rock at Horeb. What he did violated a shadow picture for a future time when there is not going to be a rod for all of Yehovah’s sent ones.

There shall come forth a twig from the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots [this is a spiritual branch, not a flesh one]. The spirit of Yehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yehovah. His delight is in the fear of Yehovah, and he shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, nor decide by the hearing of his ears; but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth. He shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. (Isa 11:1-4)

As I said in part 6 of this series, the sent one who is redeemed from among men lives through the great and awesome day of Yehovah (just like Noah lived through the flood) and possibly through the entire millennial kingdom. But there is still something even more”God like” concerning each of these men; they can not be killed.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of Yehovah is coming, for it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations.
As mighty ones [giv·vo·Rim] they run, they climb the wall like men of war; every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. And a man shall not trust another; every one marches in his own column. Though upon the weapon they fall, they shall not be wounded. (Joe 2:1-8)

Those who come to Yehovah will be happy and content for almost a whole year after they join themselves (and their families) to the sent one nearest them. But in one single day something is going to happen which will turn the whole earth into a desolation and a wilderness. And it will be at this time that we will see these sent ones, these beings, these mighty ones go to war as the arm of Yehovah. You thought they seemed like “Gods” already? Wait until you see them fight. When the strength of the world comes against them, you will see Yehovah defend the few against the many.

How Can I help?

A new blog friend wrote and told me how much my work has affected her marriage and her personally, but also lamented the fact that her man did not yet want her to send me financial support. She suggested that I publish a book or CD with all of my writings which she could purchase. She said she could do that, and would  joyfully. She finished by saying, “how can I help you?”

So yesterday as I thought about her words, “how can I help you?” it occurred to me that any one who helps spread my message is helping me, and Yehovah. Then I noticed something that has been at the bottom of all my blogs for a year, maybe longer. Here is what it looks like.

Sharing tabsThese tools answer the question, “How can I help you?” You can help by becoming a fellow worker with me in promoting Yehovah’s image and kingdom on the earth by utilizing these wonderful tools. Let’s look at them one at a time.

Facebook TabSince I spend so much time on Facebook already, many of you are my friends from there; if not please consider adding me, Ambassador Michael Didier, as your friend, When you click on this icon you have an option to add a comment and then add the link to your page or simply click it and leave the comment screen blank. Until recently I have had more referrals to my blog from Facebook than anywhere else. But the search engines (Google in particular) has taken that position as the top referrer recently.

Printing tabThis printer icon allows you to print my article without all the other stuff on the page. It comes out nice and clean.

email tabIf, while you are reading one of my articles, you think of someone who might like it; uses this email tab to send it to your friend. It is fast, simple and one more way to reach the world with Yehovah’s word.

Google+ tabI have had a Google account like, forever; and recently added the Google +. This tab and the next 2 will require a few minutes from you in order to set up an account. But once it is set up it is just two quick clicks to use it.

Twitter tabI am new to all the social networking, but Twitter is a name I often hear about. Again this was an easy account to set up and only two clicks once it is complete.

StumbleUpon tabThe next one that I will ask you to sign up for is StumbleUpon. Again it is very easy to sign up there. And, like the others above, it only requires 1 click and occasionally 2. Why? I have not figured it out yet.  🙂

I did the StumbleUpon account two days ago and used it for 3 or 4 of my articles. Check out what my stats said yesterday.

StumbleUpon has 2nd placeIn one day StumbleUpon out-did Facebook. And my day closed with twice as many reads than the day before. WOWSERS!

Reddit - LinkedInThe last two tabs, Reddit and LinkedIn, I was disappointed with; but if you have an account with either one of them please use these tools also.

Think what could happen if I had just a few helpers who, as they read and study my work, were to utilize these tools each time they visited one of my posts.

How can I help?

So the next time you ask yourself the question, “How can I help Michael promote Yehovah’s image and kingdom in the earth?”, you will know yet another way.  Of course finances are very helpful, I may be building a spiritual kingdom but I still need to stay warm, eat and take care of needs like blog fees, internet connections and all the tools I use in my work.

I appreciate anything you can do to assist me.

The Land And The Seed

the land and the seed
The Seed begins to take the Land and it starts with a great shaking.

The Sabbath class I taught below concludes our 3 year process of going through Torah and the book of Yasher. We finished Deuteronomy last week, and Yasher and five chapters from Joshua this week. And, I was pleased to see in both that Yehovah fulfilled His word to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel; the promise concerning the land and the seed. Over and over He talked about the land and the seed, the land and the seed, the land and the seed.

And Yehovah appeared unto Abram, and said, unto thy seed will I give this land: and there he built an altar unto Yehovah, who appeared unto him. (Gen 12:7)

For all the land which thou see, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. (Gen 13:15)

In the same day Yehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates. (Gen 15:18)

And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their Elohim. (Gen 17:8)

Yehovah, Elohim of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that swore unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a woman unto my son from thence. (Gen 24:7)

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swore unto Abraham thy father. (Gen 26:3)

That you may prolong your days in the land which Yehovah swore to give your fathers, to them and their seed, ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’ (Deu 11:9)

I really like this word seed. It was while we were going through Torah these past 3 years that I came to understand Israel as Yehovah’s spiritually born seed. Beni Israel is Israel’s seed, His Ezrach men who came into covenant with Him at Passover and who produce spiritual seed after His and their own kind.

We saw clearly this week that these spiritual men are the seed which inherits the land which Yehovah promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and to all His heir, His seed. Listen to the last word of Moses.

Then Israel shall dwell in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone [Jacob’s spiritual seed], in a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew. Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by Yehovah, a shield of your help and a sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places.” (Deu 33:28-29)

And the last chapter of Jasher said,

Yasher 91:15 And Yehovah gave to Israel’s seed the whole land of Canaan, as he had sworn to their ancestors, and Yehovah gave them rest from those around them, and Israel’s seed dwelt securely in their cities.
16 Blessed be Yehovah for ever, amen, and amen.

But all this is still the shadow picture of a much grander image. Yehovah told both ‘ha-adam’ and Noah to be fruitful and fill the earth; and Yehovah does not speak idle words. What He says is going to be done.

The earth is Yehovah’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. Psa 24:1

Right now Yehovah is raising up a people, His servants, men who have made covenant with Him by slaughter, His kind, who will inherit the earth, be fruitful and multiply in it. But first we will have to do what we did in Canaan.

Yasher 89:48 And he [Joshua] passed from them to all the cities of the kings which he had smitten, and he smote all the people who were left of them and he utterly destroyed them.
49 Only their booty and cattle the Israelites took to themselves as a prey, but every human being they smote, they suffered not a soul to live.
50 As Yehovah had commanded Moses, so did Joshua and all Israel; they failed not in anything.

Will you (men) leave the kingdom of your birth and join yourselves (and your family) to Yehovah’s people, True Israel? Or, will be part of the coming purge? Only the seed will inherit the land!

Last Words Of Moses

last words of mosesDeuteronomy 33 has the last words of Moses to each of Israel’s tribes and the last words of Moses to Israel as a whole. It is the conclusion of Torah and Yehovah’s words to His called-out men, Israel’s seed.

Last words of MosesSo much of these last words of Moses seem to have much to do with latter-day events, things yet to come.

We saw many examples of the Hebrew qualitative plural in this section today. And even in the very last words of Moses. He said,

None like El of Yeshurun; in His majestic CLOUDS [the cloud which Yehovah dwells in] he rides heavens to thy aid. The eternal Elohim [the lawmaker and judge] is your refuge, and beneath his everlasting arms He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, ‘Destroy!’ Then Israel shall dwell in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone. In a land of grain and new wine, his heavens shall also drop dew. Happy art thou, O Israel! Who is like unto thee, a people saved by Yehovah, a shield of thy help, and a sword of thy triumph! And thine deceptive enemies shall submit themselves unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places. (Deu 33:26-29)

Yehovah’s Servants (5) – Not Defiled With Women

They sang, as it were, a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. (4) These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being first-fruits to God and to the Lamb. (Rev 14:3-4)

Oh, how I hate reading the New Testament (NT); and much more, trying to make sense of it. Because of it we have learned and believed many things, lies, that have no foundation in Yehovah’s eternal and unchanging words given through His servant Moses and His other Prophets.

Yehovah said through Isaiah,

To the Torah [Yehovah’s word given to Moses] and to the testimony [Yehovah’s words given to His other prophets]! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. (Isa 8:20)

Revelation 14:4 is one of the main reasons I deleted my original video entitled “144,000 – virgin of Israel.” The NT would have you believe that Yehovah’s message to the world is all about this man who people call “the lamb;” but that man who Christians and Messianics worship is nothing more than a “golden calf” who was given to them by the Catholic Church to turn them away for doing what the Creator expects from men and their women.

The song which these faithful men will sing, “seems” like a new song; but it is really the song of Moses reminding Yehovah’s people NOT to follow any other lawmaker and judge but Him.

We saw in part 1 and in part 2 of this series, that “the virgin” has nothing to do with His servants’ sexual nature and EVERYTHING to do with who they serve and their 2nd / spiritual birth. Everything born of the flesh will return to the dust. but that which is born of the spirit will have life eternal.

So what does it mean to be “defiled with women?” Again, the minds of most people will turn to the flesh and assume that since “defiled with women” is used in the same sentence as the word “virgins” that it must have something to do with sex. AUGH!

I took two years of Koine Greek in college; I did not enjoy it then and I enjoy it even less now. If only I had spent my time learning ancient Hebrew. Why learn the language of the perverted commentaries when we can learn the language of the Creator? The word being translated in the verse above as “defiled” in the Greek is the word “moluno.”

G3435 μολύνω
moluno
To defile, besmear or soil as with mud or filth (1Co 8:7; Rev 3:4; Rev 14:4).
Syn.:
miaínō (G3392), to stain;
spilóō  (G4695), to spot, pollute;
phtheírō  (G5351), to corrupt.
Ant.:
katharízō (G2511), to cleanse. (WordStudy)

Moluno has nothing to do with sex and EVERYTHING to do with being soiled, corrupted and muddied. It is only used 2 other times in the NT,  neither of which has any sexual overtones. Here they are.

But not everyone knows this truth. Some people have been so used to idols that to this day when they eat such food they still think of it as food that belongs to an idol; their conscience is weak, and they feel they are defiled by the food. 1Co 8:7

Please don’t think you understand this verse without understanding Leviticus 17 and what Yehovah says about “Meat ‘sacrificed’ to ‘idols’.” The main point here is for us to understand that there are no sexual overtones here, their conscience is weak, and they “feel” they are “defiled by the food.”

The other place is Revelation 3:4.

You have a few names [men] even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. Rev 3:4

This, in fact, is the opposite (not moluno). What is the opposite in this case? “Walking with Yehovah in “white,” their garments are the garments of righteousness.

As Yehovah sanctifies His holy men, His called-out ones, so also a man sanctifies his woman (there is no word for wife in Torah) by the washing of the word.

Being defiled with women is the opposite of becoming a glorious nation without spot or wrinkle. Instead of the man sanctifying his woman by cleansing her by the washing of water with the word. His woman is defiling, besmearing, soiling or otherwise blackening her man by encouraging him to go a way he should not. She is encouraging her man to live according to his flesh, instead of his higher nature.

Sarai defiled Abram by suggesting that he take Hagar in order to produce a seed, instead of waiting for Yehovah’s promised seed; and he listened to her – AUGH!

Now Sarai, Abram’s woman, bare him no son: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said unto Abram, “Behold now, Yehovah hath restrained me from bearing; go in, I pray thee, unto my handmaid; it may be that I shall build by her.” And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. (Gen 16:1-2)

Notice Abram was not Abraham, and Sarai was not Sarah yet; they were both, as it were, still living in their flesh according to the lower nature.

Solomon too, in the end, was defiled with women.

And he had seven hundred woman, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his women turned away his heart. For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his women turned his heart after other elohim; and his heart was not loyal to Yehovah his Elohim, as was the heart of his father David. 1Ki 11:3-4

Now, speaking of David: Remember I said David is a shadow picture of the NT’s “144,000,” and the ones referred to as Israel, the male-child, the banners, the branch,  His servants, the good shepherds, the prophet like Moses and many other name in the Torah and in the Prophets.

defiled with womenDavid arrives with the ark of Yehovah

David has just brought the ark of Yehovah into His city. It is one of the best days of his life and he is coming home to “bless his family.” But his 1st woman, Michal, tried to defile him when he arrived home. She was angry because he danced uncovered before Yehovah and the maids of the land. Listen to the sarcasm drip from her lips as she speaks.

Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!” (2Sa 6:20)

“What will the neighbors think?!”

David, however, is not going to be defiled by this woman, one of many in his household. Listen to his reply to her.

So David said to Michal, “It was before Yehovah [that I danced], who chose me instead of your father and all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of Yehovah, over Israel. Therefore I will play music before Yehovah. And I will be even more undignified than this, and I will be humble in my own sight. But as for the maidservants of whom you have spoken, by [even] them I will be held in honor.” Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death. (2Sa 6:21-23)

Perhaps Michal had no child because David never “went in” to her again? David was not going to be defiled with women, and especially not the daughter of Saul. David was not held in honor by the daughter of Saul, and I think it was because of a prideful and Jezebel spirit that caused her to forget her place before her master.

Is it possible that man is the head of his woman because a woman is more pragmatic and thus, more likely to be led according to her lower nature and is more prone to follow the broad paths of life? Could this be why a woman is created to be a “suitable aide” instead of a co-leader or, worse yet, a leader of the family? Could this be part of the reason why the kingdoms of the world are currently in such a mess?

As for My people, infants are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.” (Isa 3:12)

According to the state, a woman is an equal partner in all decisions. Is that what the Creator intended?

The answer is an emphatic “NO!A man’s sin is on him; as bone of a man’s bone and flesh of a man’s flesh, what a man’s woman does, he does; she is he! And since her sin is on him, he can not allow himself to be defiled with any of his women. This defiling is also what happened with “the man.” and his woman in Genesis 3.

I have one more thing that I would like to discuss pertaining to these  amazing and set-apart men of the last days. What does it mean to be “redeemed from the earth?” We will talk about that next time.
