Unholy covenants bind us to the governments of men and make us their slaves.
Unholy Covenants Represent Rebellion To Yehovah
In the second part of this series on “Coming Out” we saw that Babylon is not a specific place, but rather all the other systems of governance on the earth (countries, kingdoms) with which we have made unholy covenants with and render service to. Babylon from the beginning was all about rebellion to Yehovah and His ways. Could this be the same spirit of rebellion that was brought to us in the garden by Satan himself? Instead of acknowledging Yehovah’s ways we promote our own ways, and in so doing give our worship and service to Satan.
We (men) only have two choices as to whom we will serve. We either serve in Yehovah’s kingdom or we serve in one of Satan’s kingdoms. This reminds me of an old Bob Dylan song “You Gotta Serve Somebody;” he says, “it may be the Devil or it may be the LORD, but ya gotta serve somebody.”
There are many who “say” they are Yehovah’s, but who actually serve in the kingdoms of the world and promote only them. This is what He said through Isaiah.
Therefore my Master said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men. (Isa 29:13)
It is the unholy covenants which we have with the world that bind us to it and prevent us from serving only the Creator and keeping His ways. Yeshua told Israel to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; but most folks overlook the other half of that quote which concludes with these words, “and to Elohim the things that are His.” What if we (I’m talking to men) set up our lives to render ALL that we are, have and will ever have to only Yehovah?
We Must Leave Our Unholy Covenants
Part of the declaration of independence which is appropriate for men of every nation, tribe and tongue says these words.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator [Yehovah] with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
I chose long ago to give my consent only to the government instituted by Yehovah, and my consent to being a part of that government is what repentance is all about. For prior to my repentance I gave my consent and lived and served in the governments of men. Granted that consent for most, was by default, by doing what everyone else does in the broad road. But now, through repentance, we now leave the kingdom of our birth and join ourselves to the commonwealth of Israel which is Yehovah’s eternal kingdom.
Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh … being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without Elohim [the lawmaker and judge] in the world. (Eph 2:11-12)
Repentance must be followed by expatriation from the kingdom of one’s first birth (a kingdom of men) into the kingdom of Yehovah (True Israel) or it is not repentance. THIS leaving of one kingdom and joining of ourselves to another is the circumcision of the heart. We men are now going to follow only Yehovah’s commandments, statutes and judgments.
Unholy Covenants, Unholy Covenants And More Unholy Covenants!
I remember once being in court and the attorney complaining to the judge about me. He said, “Your honor, this man does not have a bank account” [he couldn’t steal any money], “he does not have a job” [he couldn’t garnish my wages]. Finally in exasperation he finished by saying, “he does not even have a driver’s license. Your honor, we have no control over this man!” Oh – I will never forget those words; because I lacked the unholy covenants that everyone else has, they had no control over me. The only one who did was my master, Yehovah, whom I was in covenant with and served exclusively.
These unholy covenants are the ties that yoke us and bind us to the kings and kingdoms of this world. Paul said that we were not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers; and that when we finally do “come out” of our Babylonian ways and unholy covenants we could truly become Yehovah’s people.
Unholy Covenants Come With A Cost
My people [he is talking to men] are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest [there are no lady priests] for Me. Because you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I also will forget your sons. (Hos 4:6)
For thus says Yehovah: “You have sold yourselves for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.” For thus says my master, Yehovah: “My people went down at first into Egypt to dwell there. Then the Assyrian [the Assyrian is coming soon] oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here,” says Yehovah? “My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them make them wail,” says Yehovah. “And My name is blasphemed continually, every day. (Isa 52:3-5)
How is Yehovah’s name “blasphemed continually, everyday”? By “saying” we are His but obligating ourselves, by our unholy covenants, to follow in the ways of Babylon instead of only His ways. As I said in “Who are your elohim?“; when we say we are His but follow the ways of men, we are violating the first commandment.
“I am Yehovah, thy Elohim, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shall have no other elohim existing before My face.” (Exo 20:2-3)
Yehovah tells us to loose ourselves.
Shake yourself from the dust, arise; sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! (Isa 52:2)
In my opinion the most pervasive and least understood of all the unholy covenants folks have which bind them to the systems of the world is their state ID, their driver’s license. The majority of people entered into this unholy covenant before they were even 18 years old and believe it is just evidence that they know how to drive. But the fact of the matter is that this seemingly innocent looking piece of paper is an unholy covenant, willingly made, that binds them to far more than the “Rules of the Road”; it is evidence of the true jurisdictional authority which they have inadvertently, chosen for their lives. This unholy covenant not only binds them to the driving regulations but it also holds them accountable to ALL the state codes and regulations which now exist AND to all that will exist in the future, no matter how unrighteous they may be.
Does anyone honestly believe that Abraham had a sword permit, a cart driving license, building permit, marriage license or anyone of the unholy covenants, permits or licenses which could be granted to him by any of the kings of Canaan?
Where will it all end if we continue to believe the lies of those who say “by serving the elohim of this world we are somehow serving Yehovah?” The state can pass a law which requires you to get a federal ID and then can pass a law that requires a world ID and finally, yet another law will require you to worship the beast. This is a never-ending cycle of wickedness on the broad road that can only end in the destruction of all who continue on that path. When do we finally say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!” and begin to come out from among them by ridding ourselves of all our unholy covenants?
I began coming out of the world/Babylon in 2000 when I saw how all the unholy covenants, I had entered into, would eventually destroy my family and me. I have not had a state drivers license or SSN since that time. We can live without these unholy covenants with the world. But only those who seek Yehovah’s kingdom and His righteousness will find a way to do it.
“Therefore you shall love Yehovah, your Elohim, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always. (Deu 11:1)
Loving Yehovah and obeying only Yehovah go hand in hand. We can only serve one master.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of Elohim abides forever. (1Jn 2:15-17)

Michael, how can we possible see/understand the fullness of this teaching without knowing not to be the TRUTH. For only the truth will set us free. How we need to make a choice and indeed loosen OURSELF from the unholy covenants we made. I am so hungry to live for our Creators statues and ordinances in His Kingdom reign here on earth. May He grant me understanding and wisdom to follow in all His truth, and through this love for Him my beloved husband will find His place leading our family as one called of YHVH.

Haman appears to me to be a shadow picture of the anti-christ or perhaps the false prophet. Listen to what he has to say about YHVH’s people.
Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people’s, AND THEY DO NOT KEEP THE KING’S LAWS. Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain. (Est 3:8)

Your teaching about unholy covenants are definitely the truth.
I am in RSA and also went through divorce for same reason as you did. In my country you are not allowed to drive without a license and we don’t have public transport like first world countries, it is absolute impossible to survive daily activities without own transport.
Yes you really make me think. I still have a financial agreement with my ex-husband and praying for years now that Father will release me, I realize that I need divine intervention.

Dear Annemarie! Thank you for taking time to read some of my work. In this series I am trying to move people (especially men) through a complete thought renovation. I am not suggesting that anyone drive without a license. What I am suggesting is that people chooses the “Jurisdiction” that they live in “on purpose”. I have chosen to live my life under the jurisdiction of Yehovah, my only Elohim (law maker and judge) and have driven with an ecclesiastical drivers license for many years, without incident.
