When most people think about lawlessness, they think about breaking the laws of the kingdom which they live in, or as many call it, “the laws of the land.” But is failing to get your dog licensed, burning during a burning-ban or starting a business without getting a business license really sin? It all comes down to who we each choose to serve; everybody serves somebody!
Turning From Sin Begins With Repentance, And THAT Is What The “Good News” Is All About
Yehovah’s “good news” is all about HIS kingdom and salvation for a man begins with repentance, leaving the kingdom of his birth and making himself 100% Yehovah’s man.
Sing to Yehovah, all the earth; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day-to-day. (1Ch 16:23)
I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness in the great assembly; Indeed, I do not restrain my lips. (Psa 40:9)
Sing to Yehovah, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day-to-day. (Psa 96:2)
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion [Yehovah’s called-out men], “Your God [your Elohim – your lawmaker and judge] reigns!” (Isa 52:7)
Even Yeshua (Jesus), as he began to teach, started with the”good news” of Yehovah’s kingdom.
Now after John was put in prison, Yeshua came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of Elohim [Yehovah’s kingdom], and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of Elohim is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mar 1:14-15)
The “gospel” or “good news” as we can clearly see, is about Yehovah’s kingdom and His reign in the life of his people.
The prophet Ezekiel also talks about repentance. And says,
“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel [there are no Gentiles in Israel, only men who were Gentiles], every one according to his ways,” And says, “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that sin will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies, therefore turn and live!” (Eze 18:30-32)
Yehovah’s Words Given Through Moses Defines Sin
So what is sin? When I want to define a word in the scriptures I try to discover where the scriptures define that specific word. Here are a few of the verses I found. Please remember that Yehovah always speaks to His Ezrach / His Native-born men.
If a person [still talking to and about men] sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of Yehovah. Though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity. (Lev 5:17)
One ordinance shall be for you of the assembly [the Ezrach men] and for the stranger [the stranger or Ger, is the Gentile who has left the land of his birth and joined himself to True Israel through repentance] who dwells with you , an ordinance forever throughout your generations. As you are, so shall the stranger [Ger] be before Yehovah. One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger [Ger] who dwells with you… If you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments which Yehovah has spoken to Moses – all that Yehovah has commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day Yehovah gave commandment and onward throughout your generations … (Num 15:15-23)
But the person who does anything presumptuously, whether he is native-born [Ezrach] or a stranger [Ger], that one brings reproach on Yehovah, and he shall be cut off from among his people. Because he has despised the word of Yehovah, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt shall be upon him. (Num 15:30-31)
“Behold, all souls are Mine. The soul of the father as well as the soul of the son [not the mother or the daughter] is Mine. The soul who sins shall die. But if a man is just, and does what is lawful and right; if he has walked in My statutes, and kept My judgments faithfully, He is just. He shall surely live!” Says my master, Yehovah. (Eze 18:4-5, 9)
But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. (Eze 18:21)
Without a doubt sin is breaking Yehovah’s laws – His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments – given to all His Ezrach men AFTER they came out of Egypt with Moses. Everyone must repent, both Jew and Gentile alike in order to join themselves to Yehovah’s holy nation; and that nation is True Israel. The kingdom of heaven is truly at hand today for all who will repent, leave the kingdoms of men and the ways of men and join themselves to Yehovah and His called-out people. Without true repentance a man has no hope of salvation.
Serving Other Elohim Is The First Sin A Man Must Repent Of
The biggest and foremost sin a man commits before Yehovah is the serving of other elohim. The words which Yehovah spoke before He gave His Ezrach men His first commandment were these:
“I am Yehovah, thy Elohim, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shall have no other elohim existing before My face.” (Exo 20:2-3)
A man can not maintain his covenants with Egypt and call himself Yehovah’s man. The former is mutually exclusive of the latter; a man can only serve one master, just as a woman can only serve one man.
Yehovah does not tell any man how to live until he becomes His man. And, in the same way, a man cannot tell any woman how to live until she becomes his woman (daughter, wife, relation under his covering or even his servant).
Turning From Sin Is About Returning to Yehovah’s Created Purpose For “The Man” And For “The Man’s” Woman
To understand Yehovah’s created purpose we must go back to the creation of “the man” and his woman. No one, man or woman, will ever find salvation without understanding what Yehovah’s created purpose for them is and then conforming their life to that purpose. Yehovah spoke to and gave all His instructions to “the man”; and that man’s woman was created to be his flesh and his bone. My flesh and my bone has always followed only me. Yehovah said nothing to the woman until she disobeyed her man. Never forget, Noah was saved because he walked with Elohim, but his woman was preserved because she followed Noah. Like Noah, a man must learn to follow only Yehovah, as a woman must learn to follow only her man; this is the beginning of our turning from sin.
Dear Brother,
Thank you so much for sharing the simple message on SINS of present days church going people. “Sin is Lawlessness”. As per the prophacy this lawlessness will increase in coming days. The Holy Spirit filled person will know how to correct it as He is the guide and comfortor inside the true believer. The righteous will rise again even he falls seven time. But, it is not for the all common people who goes to churches or synegoges nominally and never Repented truly about their sins. May God protect us to be a “True to Him all the times”. Shalom.
