Passover Is In THE Abib / Aviv Month
On this day you are going out, in the aviv [×”×ביב, ha·a·viv] month [בחדש×, chodesh]. (Exo 13:4)
You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed, the aviv [×”×ביב, ha·a·viv] month [חדש×, chodesh], for in it you came out of Egypt; none shall appear before Me empty). (Exo 23:15)
“The Feast of Unleavened Bread you shall keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the appointed time, the aviv [×”×ביב, ha·a·viv] month [חדש×, chodesh]; for in the abib / aviv [×”×ביב, ha·a·viv] month [בחדש×, chodesh] you came out from Egypt. (Exo 34:18)
“Observe the abib / aviv [×”×ביב, ha·a·viv] month [חדש×, chodesh], and keep the Passover to Yehovah, your Elohim, for in the abib / aviv [×”×ביב, ha·a·viv] month [בחדש×, chodesh] Yehovah, your Elohim brought you out of Egypt by night. (Deu 16:1)
Every time the abib / aviv is mentioned, the definite article “the” is used. Only one month has “the abib / aviv” in it. Why is it that NONE of the translators acknowledge the definite article; its important!
The faithful servants of Yehovah are to be waiting and watching for the master’s return. The abib / aviv is how we sync our schedule with His.
Rarely do I find a movie that does such an excellent job of teaching a Biblical principle without trashing another so terribly that I can not share it with those I love in good conscience.
I hope that you will enjoy this wonderful presentation as much as I do.
