Unto us a child is born. Who is this child and what are the circumstances of his birth?
“A Child is Born” Sound Byte
Isaiah 9 is a sound-byte that is so well-known among the “Christian church” and so deeply set in our minds that to even consider another interpretation (even in the context in which it is actually written) is very difficult; even for me, and I see the lie! Here is the sound-byte.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called wonderful, counselor, mighty god, everlasting father, prince of peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of Yehovah of hosts will perform this. (Isa 9:6-7)
I have called the quoted text above a “sound-byte” because it has been ripped out of the context of the chapter in which it was written and is foreign to Yehovah’s good-news, and the whole of His kingdom message which He has given to His men through Moses and His other prophets. I am here today to tell you that this male child is currently in a birth process; and that his birth will change life as we know it forever.
In part 1 of this series called “Who are the male child?” I made a case for true, born in the land, Ezrach, Israel being the male child and the plural “he” who are seen throughout the scriptures; “he” is usually, though erroneously, called “the sons of Israel” or worse “the children of Israel.” These men are Yehovah’s son, Israel’s seed.
Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says Yehovah: ” My son [×‘× ×™, be Ni], My firstborn [בכרי, be cho Ri] is Israel.” (Exo 4:22)
A Child Is Born After Its Own Kind
In part 2 we saw that this male child is NOT born of a virgin (betulah), but rather a sexually mature woman (almah). The male child comes from other Ezrach men who begat seed after their own kind. Isaiah 54 talks of this spiritual birth. You should remember that Yehovah’s kingdom in made up of two kinds of men; the Ezrach (the native-born) and the Ger (the stranger) who dwells with them. Each year, throughout our generations as an everlasting covenant, all Israel keeps an Exodus 12 Passover and the Gerim become the new Ezrach.
And when a stranger [Ger] dwells with you [the Ezrach] and wants to keep the Passover to Yehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; AND HE SHALL BE [come] ONE BORN IN THE LAND [an Ezrach]” (Exo 12:48)
So we see that the Ezrach, spiritual men, begat more spiritual men from the Gerim; “unto us a child is born. Here is a note about how a nation which will be born in a single day at some coming Passover in the very near future. Right now Yehovah is looking for a large group of men who are currently scattered all over the world (I’d guess about 144,000). They are men who have come out from the kingdoms of their birth, joined themselves as Gerim to Yehovah’s born in the land men (Israel) and then became Israel themselves at Passover.
The Male Child Will Become The New El On The Earth
In part 3 I discussed what an “el,” a law-maker and judge, is. The elohim of the earth are composed of all the rulers and judges of the nations of the earth. But Yehovah, in the last days, is raising up new elohim whom He will over-see as Elohim of elohim. Because He is The Elohim and the male child are His son, they become princes; or speaking in the language of the plural “he,” prince of peace (sar shalom).
In these last days, just like when we left Egypt the first time and made the land of the Canaanites our land, Yehovah is raising up His set-apart people as mighty warriors to claim the whole world this time for Himself and to fulfill His word. These men will provide the seed of a whole new generation; just like Adam was the father of the antediluvian world and Noah was the father of the current population of the earth, the male child will be the father of eternity.
“‘Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant [we enter in, or renew our covenant with Yehovah each year at Passover], then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests [Yehovah only has male priests] and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to Israel’s seed.” Exo 19:5-6
A Child Is Born In Context
Just Like Moses a child will be born unto us also, a male child who will deliver Yehovah people from all the places that He has scattered them. As it is written.
“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says Yehovah, “that it shall no more be said, ‘Yehovah lives who brought up Israel’s seed from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘Yehovah lives who brought up Israel’s seed from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ … (Jer 16:14-15)
I want to begin today with looking at the Isaiah 9 sound-byte in the context of the chapter in which it is written. In the Hebrew scripture Isaiah 9: 1 is actually the last verse in Isaiah 8. So the beginning of the chapter 9 is Isaiah 9:2. The highlighted words represent the male child.
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined. (Isa 9:2)
The light of righteousness is now beginning to shine upon the earth. Many men are starting to see the darkness which they are living in and are now leaving it and learning how to dwell in the light. This is the difference between those who dwell on earth and those who dwell in heaven. Just like the days of Noah, all who followed the kings of the earth died, but those who “walk with Elohim” shall be saved.
You have multiplied the nation and increased its joy; they rejoice before You according to the joy of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. (Isa 9:3)
Just like it was when we left Egypt the first time and then took the land of Canaan as our own, the plunder of both kingdoms became ours. The wealth of the wicked came, and shall come again, into the hands of the righteous. While the rest of the world is suffering during the tribulation, we will be rejoicing as stall-fed calves. Yehovah will take care of His set-apart men (His great ones) and all who will join themselves to them (the least in the kingdom), and become their servants.
In the last days, when Israel is raised in all the places that Yehovah has scattered them, they will go to war and plunder all the kingdoms of the earth.
And when Yehovah, your Elohim delivers it into your hands, you shall strike every male in it with the edge of the sword. But the women, the little ones, the livestock, and all that is in the city, all its spoil, you shall plunder for yourself; and you shall eat the enemies’ plunder which Yehovah your God [Elohim, lawmaker and judge] gives you. Thus you shall do to all the cities which are very far from you, which are not of the cities of these nations. “But of the cities of these peoples which Yehovah, your Elohim gives you as an inheritance, you shall let nothing that breathes remain alive. (Deu 20:13-16)
Anyone who does not fear Yehovah and make Him their only Elohim, will fear both Him and His people in the last days.
For You have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian. For every warrior’s sandal from the noisy battle, and garments rolled in blood, will be used for burning and fuel of fire. (Isa 9:4-5)
Because of the might of the male child (Israel), when the earth is once again Yehovah’s there will be no more need for war or weapons of war. Peace will once again reign on the earth; and Yehovah’s people will gratefully say, “for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given …”
