Approximately 44 days after 600,000 men became Yehovah’s spiritually born son (yes I did say “son”) at Passover He begins to prepare them to receive His instructions, His commandments, which they will then teach all who are in their gates (their women, their children, their servants and the Ger who dwells with them). Yehovah’s instructed Moses to tell Pharaoh,
Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says Yehovah: ” My son (בני), My firstborn is Israel. So I say to you, let My son (בני) go that he may serve Me. But if you refuse to let him go, indeed I will kill thy son (בנך), your firstborn.” ‘ ” (Exo 4:22-23)
“My son” is the plural “He” the “man-child” that I discuss at length in my “144,000 in the Scriptures” video.
For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him; There! A people (עם, am) dwelling alone, not reckoning itself among the nations. (Num 23:9)
We are going to talk about the Yehovah’s people (עם, am), His spiritually born son today. But we have learned so many lies! We have accepted so much as truth, that is not. I believe it was Samuel Clemens who said,
It’s not so much what you know that gets you in trouble; it is what you know for sure that just ain’t so!
Most Bibles translate beni Israel (בני ישׂראל) as “the children of Israel;” however there are some (the literal translations and a handful of others) that demonstrate greater understanding and refer to beni Israel as “the sons of Israel.” But בני ישׂראל is, in reality, “Israel’s seed.” They alone are the spiritually born son of Yehovah; and if they are His son, their women (bone of their bone and flesh of their flesh) are His daughter. I have written several articles on who these men are and who they are not. If you are interested please read these articles.
Beginning with Exodus 19:1 it is only 3 or 6 days until these spiritually born men are going to start to receive Yehovah’s commandments concerning how they, and those who are within their gates, are to live in this world. And it has only been about two weeks since Yehovah commanded these same men to gather the food which fell from heaven, the manna for every person in their tent each morning. There were no ladies, or even Ger, who gathered the manna. Only “Yehovah’s son collected the manna.”
Many Torah teachers will tell you that THE Elohim (THE lawmaker and judge of Israel) spoke from the mountain on Shavuot; and it only makes sense to me that He did. But from the information I have been able to glean from both Torah and Yasher I can not verify it; that estimation falls 1 to 4 days short.
This blog, however, is about whom Yehovah spoke to from the mountain.
Only Men Drew Near The Mountain
Moses has already been up to the mountain and back once and I am going to begin with his second trip up the mountain to talk to “THE Elohim” there. To listen to my complete teaching on this chapter, please listen to the video or audio below.
And Yehovah said to Moses, “Behold, I will come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. “So Moses told the words of the people to Yehovah. Then Yehovah said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes. And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day Yehovah will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. (Exo 19:9-11)
Most folks will assume that “people” (עם) includes both men and women. But that is not the case, in fact it is RARELY the case as we will soon see.
You shall set bounds for the people (העם) all around, saying, ‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch its base. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death. Not a hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot with an arrow; whether a man (אישׁ, eesh) or a beast (בהמה, behemah), he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come near the mountain.” (Exo 19:12-13)
Yehovah is concerned that a man or a beast would go on the mountain; not a women, they were left in the base camp in Rephidim.
The Commandments Were Given To Yehovah’s Sons
Now Moses goes back down and speaks to the people (העם).
So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people (העם) and they washed their clothes. And he said to the people (העם), “Be ready for the third day; do not come near a woman (אשׁה, ishshah).” (Exo 19:14-15)
There is no word for “wife” in Torah; the only distinction between the two English words “woman” and “wife” has to do with who she belongs to. This word has no possession attached it; it simply says “woman.”
Moses did not say “do not come near a man”: he said “do not come near a woman” because he was talking to Yehovah’s son, Israel. Moses is not talking about a man having sex with his woman for 3 days. He wants the men, Yehovah’s son, not to even touch any woman for 3 days. A woman in her menses will make a man unclean (tamei) and therefore unfit to appear before Yehovah.
Also, when a woman lies with a man, and there is an emission of semen, they shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. ‘If a woman has a discharge, and the discharge from her body is blood, she shall be set apart seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening. Everything that she lies on during her impurity shall be unclean; also everything that she sits on shall be unclean. Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. (Lev 15:18-21)
Incidentally, “they washed,” and “ their clothes” are both 3rd person, masculine, plural words.
Israel’s Seed Comes Near To Hear Yehovah’s Commandments
So the day finally came. Moses brought us, Yehovah’s son, out of the camp where we left our women, our children and our Ger to hear Yehovah’s commandments.
And Moses brought the people (העם) out of the camp to meet with THE Elohim (THE lawmaker and judge of the whole earth), and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because Yehovah descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and Elohim answered him by voice. (Exo 19:17-19)
The Commandments Were Given To Each Of His Sons Individually
All the commandments were given to His son, Israel, or what I have now come to understand as Israel’s seed (multiple generations of spiritually born men).
Yehovah said “Thou shall have” no Elohim but me. All of Yehovah’s commandments are given in the 2nd person, masculine, singular voice because he is speaking to each son separately. Yehovah does not command women, Moses does not command women, no man commands another man’s woman because Yehovah said to the woman “he [ha adam, the man] shall rule over thee.” This is why His son wears tzitzot and their women do not. Yehovah’s son listens to Moses and acts accordingly; that is his righteousness. While a woman of worth is to obey her man and encourage him to serve only Yehovah.
Unfortunately, practically all men serve the elohim (the lawmakers and judges) of this world and have made covenants with them.
Currently Yehovah is looking for men who will leave the country of their birth and join themselves to His people, His son, Israel and then become a spiritually born son at Passover. These are the men who He will use in the wilderness during the tribulation to bring many other men (with their families) back to Himself.
The men who will do this now will be set-apart at a future Shavuot to become the great ones in His kingdom. They are the ones with the good-looking feet and the watchmen whom Yehovah will raise up; and at that same time they will be down-loaded with some very specific information to teach those who come to them and Him in the last days.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when Yehovah brings back Zion. (Isa 52:7-8)
