“Beni Israel” is the your in “Yehovah, your Elohim.”

“Therefore you shall love Yehovah, your Elohim [יהוה אלהיכם, a.k.a. “the LORD, your God“], and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always. Know today that I do not speak with your sons, who have not known and who have not seen the chastening of Yehovah, your Elohim, His greatness and His mighty hand and His outstretched arm—His signs and His acts which He did in the midst of Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to all his land. (Deu 11:1-3)

Few people understand that beni Israel [בני ישׂראל] or Israel’s son/seed [a.k.a. and falsely translated as “the children of Israel”] and Yehovah, your Elohim are talking about the same group of Ezrach [born in the land] men.

“I have heard the complaints of beni Israel. Speak to them, saying, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am Yehovah, your Elohim [Israel’s only lawmaker and judge].’ ” (Exo 16:12)

“Speak to beni Israel, and say to them: ‘I am Yehovah, your Elohim. (Lev 18:2)

“And I commanded you [the tribes of Ruben, Gad and half the tribe of Manasseh] at that time, saying: ‘Yehovah, your Elohim has given you this land to possess. All you men of valor shall cross over armed before your brethren [אחיכם], beni Israel. (Deu 3:18)

For beni Israel are servants to Me; they are My servant whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah, your Elohim. (Lev 25:55)

You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All the Ezrach [האזרח] in Israel shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I made beni Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Yehovah, your Elohim.’ ” So Moses declared to beni Israel the feasts of Yehovah. (Lev 23:42-44)

Coming to a true understanding of Yehovah’s word is a constant state of evolution as new light (knowledge and understanding) become available to those who have eyes to see.

My understanding of who beni Israel is has been refined greatly since I began daily studying Yehovah’s eternal and unchanging word 15 years ago.

I, like most, was taught that beni Israel was “the children of Israel” (the nation of Israel as a whole) which would include men, women, children, servants and the ger who dwell with them.

But within a very short time I realized that was not possible, and that Yehovah was talking to “the sons of Israel.”

Still more light came and I saw that these special men were only Yehovah’s spiritually born men, His Ezrach. And my deepening, but still developing, understandings at that time were then “My son, Israel” or “Israel’s son.”

Unfortunately English sometimes just does not suffice in communicating what the Hebrew actually says. So I went back and forth between “son” and “sons”. There is no plural form of “Ezrach;” they are the plural “he,” the “male-child” that Yehovah is raising up in the last days.

Within the last couple of months I began to see that these heirs, His Ezrach men, were multi-generational and the spiritual born descendants promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when He promised them “the land and the seed.” They are the seed.

I love this word “seed,” it is like “sheep;” one sheep is a sheep and 10 sheep are still sheep. That is how it is with the Ezrach, the “seed;” one or many is still “seed.”

So when we talk about beni Esau we are talking about all the multi-generational descendants or seed of Esau and specifically MEN who carry the seed of the next generation.

As I said, beni Israel and Yehovah, your Elohim is spiritually born seed that comes to life in the Time of Life (a 2nd birth) at Passover each year. After this lesson it is once again clear to me that only men, the heads of each household are Israel’s seed; even though their sons and all the men of their household were circumcised with them when they drew near to keep the Passover and became Yehovah’s Ezrach, His heir and His spiritual seed.
