Yehovah’s Servants (7) Shalach – The Sent One

sent oneAnd one [a seraphim] cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is Yehovah of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man [eesh] of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Yehovah of hosts.”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.” Also I heard the voice of Yehovah, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isa 6:3-8)

Oh, how I want to say those words, “hin-Ni  she-la-Che-ni” to Yehovah; I WILL be ready when he calls because I am sold out for Him and have no covenants with any other elohim (lawmakers and judges).

[Note: This series begins here: 144,000 – Virgin of Israel]

Everyone will recognize Yehovah’s shalach or “sent one” as the last days begin; each one will have a pillar of fire and smoke over his head as a sign that Yehovah dwells with him.

The sent one is an amazing being. Ha – I said “being,” and can not think of another word to describe them; in part 2 I talked about them as being Yehovah’s khaw·seed, His kind, His seed and His heir. They are so much more than the Ger (the man who has repented, left the kingdom of his birth and joined himself to Yehovah and His seed, His born in the land men). And a Gentile, the walking dead of the earth, who still serves in the kingdom of men is nothing compared to even the Ger. But this rebellious Gentile can repent and become a Ger, and then, at Passover, he too can become Yehovah’s spiritual seed.

The shalach, Yehovah’s sent one, has His authority; the things he says, does, and the decisions he makes are all as if Yehovah had said, done and made them. Moses was a sent one of Yehovah. Many times he said and did things without specific instructions from Yehovah. Each sent one who Yehovah raises up and seals in the last days, to fulfill His purposes, will seem like a “God” to the world, just as Moses seemed to Aaron and Pharaoh.

Now you [Moses] shall speak to him [Aaron] and put the words in his mouth. And I [Yehovah] will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God [לאלהים]. (Exo 4:15-16).

So Yehovah said to Moses: “See, I have made thee Elohim [אלהים] to Pharaoh, and Aaron, thy brother, shall be thy prophet. (Exo 7:1)

The sent one whom Yehovah is raising from their dry bones, in thousand of locations all over the earth, will lead the people who join them in their gates just as Moses did. Each man who joins himself (and his family) to them will find provision, protection from the world and be taught the correct way for a man and for a woman to live on the earth. Each sent one will see eye to eye with every other sent one when Yehovah brings back Zion (His spiritual people).

Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when Yehovah brings back Zion. (Isa 52:8)

Each sent one only needs to speak, and miraculous signs will follow. I think this is the reason that Moses failed to make it into the promised land; he was supposed to “speak to the rock” the second time and instead He hit it with the rod of Elohim, just like he did to the rock at Horeb. What he did violated a shadow picture for a future time when there is not going to be a rod for all of Yehovah’s sent ones.

There shall come forth a twig from the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots [this is a spiritual branch, not a flesh one]. The spirit of Yehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yehovah. His delight is in the fear of Yehovah, and he shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, nor decide by the hearing of his ears; but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth. He shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. (Isa 11:1-4)

As I said in part 6 of this series, the sent one who is redeemed from among men lives through the great and awesome day of Yehovah (just like Noah lived through the flood) and possibly through the entire millennial kingdom. But there is still something even more”God like” concerning each of these men; they can not be killed.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of Yehovah is coming, for it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations.
As mighty ones [giv·vo·Rim] they run, they climb the wall like men of war; every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. And a man shall not trust another; every one marches in his own column. Though upon the weapon they fall, they shall not be wounded. (Joe 2:1-8)

Those who come to Yehovah will be happy and content for almost a whole year after they join themselves (and their families) to the sent one nearest them. But in one single day something is going to happen which will turn the whole earth into a desolation and a wilderness. And it will be at this time that we will see these sent ones, these beings, these mighty ones go to war as the arm of Yehovah. You thought they seemed like “Gods” already? Wait until you see them fight. When the strength of the world comes against them, you will see Yehovah defend the few against the many.

Spirit Wisdom And The Rod Of His Mouth

spirit wisdomIn My Sabbath class it has taken us 3 years but we finished Deuteronomy this week and will finish the last few pages of the book of  Yasher next time. However, I still plan to go through the first 6 chapters of Joshua before we conclude this series. I want to cover those chapters in Joshua because I believe they help us to see what we can expect in the coming last days.

Just before we, Israel’s seed, began our conquest of the land of Canaan we circumcised all our males and then held a true Passover as  codified in Exodus 12; not a Seder, nor a communion service and certainly not a foot-washing service. We did what Yehovah commanded and then He fought with us.

Moses was the prophet who Yehovah used to bring Israel’s seed (with their families) out of Egypt the 1st time, and He will do it again.

“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says Yehovah, “that it shall no more be said, ‘Yehovah lives who brought up Israel’s seed from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘Yehovah lives who brought up Israel’s seed from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ ” (Jer 16:14-15)

But “the prophet like Moses” whom Yehovah will use to deliver those men who want to follow only Yehovah the second time is not a lone man; he is the plural he, Israel, Yehovah’s spiritual seed, His first firstborn. He is the nation who will be born in a day sometime in the near future. (Every year the men who comprise this nation grow, and it is just a matter of time before Yehovah has all the Ezrach he needs to deliver His people from their bondage.)

This week we saw that Joshua took the place of Moses because Moses disobeyed Yehovah and “hit” the rock with Yehovah’s rod, instead of “speaking to it.” I think this miracle was to be performed by Moses’ lips alone because Yehovah was setting up a shadow picture of the 2nd great Exodus and He does not have a rod for each one of His set-apart men in the last days.

At the end of Torah Joshua took over where Moses left off and it says that spirit wisdom was on him.

Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of spirit wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so Israel’s seed heeded him, and did as Yehovah had commanded Moses. But since then there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses, whom Yehovah knew face to face, in all the signs and wonders which Yehovah sent him to do in the land of Egypt, before Pharaoh, before all his servants, and in all his land, and by all that mighty power and all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel. (Deu 34:9-12)

It appears to me that Joshua lacked the ability to talk to Yehovah face to face. The prophets like Moses who Yehovah is each Passover raising up will speak to Yehovah face to face because they have made “knowing Him” their sole ambition. We talked at length about how this last part Deuteronomy, this summation of Torah, relates to Isaiah 11 which describes the prophet like Moses whom Yehovah is raising up in the last days. Men who have spirit wisdom and wield “the rod” of their mouth.

Spirit Yehovah shall rest upon Him, spirit wisdom and understanding, spirit counsel and might, spirit knowledge and of fear of Yehovah. (Isa 11:2-4)

Yehovah is described as spirit Elohim in Genesis 1 and it is this spirit which will rest upon all of His servants (men) in the coming last days. I wrote a series of articles about knowledge, understanding and wisdom and found it interesting that those 3 were here also; but what impressed me most was the foundation for it all. What is the foundation? The fear of Yehovah! And truly the fear of Yehovah IS the beginning of spirit wisdom.

The Rod Of God (Elohim)

rod of godIn the 59th year after Moses (now 78) fled from Egypt he finds the rod of God (Elohim – THE lawmaker and judge), His token of authority, and plucks it from Reuel’s (his future father-in-law’s) garden. This rod of God has been carried by each of His Melchizedeks, the leaders of his people since the time of Adam.

Note: I do not use the word “God” in my writings or in my everyday speech because of all the preconceived religious ideas and false understanding that go along with that word. Instead I choose to use the Hebrew word “El” which means “lawmaker and judge.” But for purposes of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) I have chosen to use the words “rod of God” in this article.

If you will remember Moses left Egypt and went to the King of Cush, Kikianus. who was for 9 years trying to take back his city from Balaam, the son of Beor. And when Kikianus dies and Moses is made king, he does take back the city and rules Cush for 40 years. When he leaves Cush and comes to Reuel, Moses is put in a dungeon for 10 years because Reuel fears the men of Cush who sent Moses away. Moses would have died there if not for Reuel’s eldest daughter, Zipporah, who daily and secretly brought him bread and water.

Yasher 77:23 But they increased the latter work more than the former, and Israel’s seed sighed at this and their cry ascended to the Elohim on account of their labor.
24 And Elohim heard the voice of Israel’s seed and their cry in those days, and Elohim remembered towards them his covenant which he had made with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
25 And Elohim saw the burden of Israel’s seed, and their heavy work in those days, and he determined to deliver them.
26 And Moses the son of Amram was still confined in the dungeon in those days, in the house of Reuel the Midianite; and Zipporah the daughter of Reuel did support him with food secretly day by day.

Now, in the 206th year of Jacob’s seed dwelling in the land of Egypt, the scene is finally being set for Yehovah to bring His spiritual seed out of Egypt with His strong-arm.  After 10 years Zipporah petitions her father to release Moses, but Reuel assumes that Moses is dead. Look what Reuel finds when he finally checks on him.

Yasher 77:32 And Zipporah answered her father, saying, Surely thou hast heard that the Elohim of the Hebrews is great and awful, and does wonders for them at all times.
33 He it was who delivered Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans, and Isaac from the sword of his father, and Jacob from the messenger of Yehovah who wrestled with him at the ford of Jabbuk.
34 Also with this man has he done many things, he delivered him from the river in Egypt and from the sword of Pharaoh, and from Cush’s seed, so also can he deliver him from famine and make him live.
35 And the thing seemed good in the sight of Reuel, and he did according to the word of his daughter, and sent to the dungeon to ascertain what became of Moses.
36 And he saw, and behold the man Moses was living in the dungeon, standing upon his feet, praising and praying to the Elohim of his ancestors.

Moses, a man of Elohim, is alive and well and on his feet in the dungeon praising and praying to the Elohim of his ancestors. Moses knows Yehovah and has walked with Him in the good times of his life and in the very low times. Now Yehovah is going to exalt Moses and use him to lead His men (and their families) out of Egypt. Any wonder what happens next to Moses?

Moses Hits The Rock

To have a priesthood many believe that we must have the red heifer ashes in order to cover our uncleanliness, our tamei condition caused by being exposed to the dead; but to make the ashes of the red heifer we must have a priesthood. What is the answer to this “catch 22′” situation? Yehovah’s word always has answers.

Moses Hits The RockFrom the last verse of Numbers chapter 19 to the first verse of chapter 20, thirty-eight years have passed for the Israelites in the wilderness. The chapter begins with the death and burial of Miriam in the 1st month of the 40th year. Why 40th year? You’ll have to listen to find out.

We now have a whole new set of men, 20 years to about 40 years old, who are now supposed to follow Moses. But it is hard to overcome the training we received when we were young; and this new group of about 600,000 men, leaders of their families, is no exception.

Moses Hits The Rock

Israel’s seed is once again complaining to Moses and Aaron; this time about a shortage of water. Moses knows that a complaint against him is a complaint against Yehovah and falls on His face to pray for them. Yehovah appears and gives Moses simple and clear instructions, “Take THE rod and speak to the rock.” Moses fails to do this and that means the death of Aaron is at hand and Moses’ death is imminent.

On the first day of the fifth month in the fortieth year Aaron went up Mount Hor and did not return, Israel mourned the death of Aaron for 30 days.

We finished with an outlined overview our conquest of the of the land on the East side of the Jordan and compared that to what we, Yehovah’s called-out people,  can expect in the coming last days.
