Torah 101

Torah 101Torah 101 is basic information to the faith, that Yeshua (Jesus) taught. We are to leave the the kingdom of our birth and doctrines and traditions of men and begin to love Yehovah (the LORD) our God (Elohim, our lawmaker and judge) with all our heart and with all our souls and with all our minds. But what does that really mean?

Few people understand that Yeshua was not “coming up” with some new teaching, but instead was quoting word for word right out of Deuteronomy. What Yeshua said was so foundational to our faith that we are lost without a true picture of what he meant, just as I was lost and confused for most of my life. I had a false image in my mind that needed to be toppled before I could be set free to love Yehovah this way.

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. (Deu 6:5-6)
