Make Aliyah Or Not To Make Aliyah
Wikipedia describes “Making Aliyah,” saying,
Aliyah is widely regarded as an important Jewish cultural concept and a fundamental concept of Zionism that is enshrined in Israel’s Law of Return, which accords any Jew (deemed as such by Halakha and/or Israeli secular law) and eligible non-Jews (a child and a grandchild of a Jew, the spouse of a Jew, the spouse of a child of a Jew and the spouse of a grandchild of a Jew), the legal right to assisted immigration and settlement in Israel, as well as automatic Israeli citizenship. Someone who “makes aliyah” is called an oleh (m. singular) or olah (f. singular); the plural for both is olim. Many Religious Jews espouse aliyah as a return to the Promised land, and regard it as the fulfillment of God’s biblical promise to the descendants of the Hebrew patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Aliyah is included as a commandment by some opinions on the enumeration of the 613 commandments.
Oh Puulllleeeease! A fundamental concept of Zionism? Israel’s Law of Return? Halakha and/or Israeli secular law? Automatic Israeli citizenship? A return to the Promised land? Aliyah is included as a commandment? Where is any of this in the Torah and the Prophets? These are all additions to Yehovah’s word – which we, and they, are not allowed to do.
Who Is Israel And How Does One Really “Make Aliyah”?
Israel is not a place, it is a people; men people, in covenant with Yehovah! The “land of Israel” is in reality “Israel’s land.” Israel is Yehovah’s son and His heir. If the whole earth is Yehovah’s and all who dwell in it. Then, soon, Yehovah will make the whole earth, Israel’s land. This is the hope that Israel has.
I see HUGE problems with this Jewish idea of “making aliyah,” for it is only a return to Israel (the STATE) in the flesh.
The only thing a man (yes, I did say man) has to do to become Israel is repent. We leave Babylon, by politically expatriating (Coming Out) from the kingdoms of men and join ourselves to the kingdom of Elohim [the lawmaker and judge]. Here is how a Gentile becomes a Ger and joins himself to Yehovah and His called-out people, Israel. And at Passover, that man, the new Ger, who has left the kingdom of his birth, can become Israel. That ONLY is TRUE ALIYAH! And, when the time comes, Yehovah will see that we get the land which was promised to us, Israel’s land.
“Making Aliyah” Is A Jewish Idea About “Returning To A Particular Geographic Place”
I make a distinction between the POLITICAL STATE AND “LAND OF ISRAEL”, a man-made government with ITS own statutes, judgments and ordinances. A man-made government that trusts in its Military Intelligence, tanks, ground to air missiles, planes, etc, etc, etc and TRUE ISRAEL, men in covenant with Yehovah, a people who have repented, left the kingdom of their birth and are diligently learning the Creator’s statutes, judgments and ordinances and who trust in Yehovah, as the new elohim for all their provisions and safety.
Making Aliyah Is Foolishness, A Work Of The Flesh
In this religious and very Jewish view of “making aliyah”, a man trades one kingdom of men and joins himself to yet another kingdom of men. What is the point of trading one set of rebellious elohim (lawmakers and judges) for another?
Become Israel, Don’t Make Aliyah!
I am talking about a radical change in lifestyle, not aliyah; a change on the scale of Abram’s journey from Ur without physically leaving.
The two most important parts of Yehovah’s covenant with Abraham is the “land” and the “seed.” In the end the seed will get the land promised to them; just like it happened the first time.
Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee A great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12:1-3)
This “crossing over” or “coming out” that Abraham did is where he and we get the name “Hebrews.” We are crossing over from one Kingdom and joining ourselves to Yehovah’s people, True Israel. By becoming Hebrews, we (men) shine the light of righteousness on all those who “say” they are Yehovah’s, but have never left the kingdom of their birth. This, by the way, is why we suffer so much persecution. We are hated by the elohim we leave and by those who “say” they are Yehovah’s but will not leave their man-made kingdom and become wholly His.
And Yehovah appeared unto Abram, and said, unto thy seed will I give this land: and there he built an altar unto Yehovah, who appeared unto him. (Genesis 12:7)
For all the land which thou see, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. (Genesis 13:15)
BUT not all of Abraham’s offspring were the heir of Abraham’s covenant with Yehovah; for only the supernaturally born son of Abraham, namely Isaac, was the heir.
And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac [his true spiritual seed]. (Gen 25:5)
The True seed is NOT currently in their land; for if they were, they would also have a righteous government which keeps only Yehovah’s laws. Most of the people, who are in that land which most people call “the land of Israel” now, if they practice anything, practice Judaism. How Is Judaism any better than Christianity or even Islam or Buddhism? Only True Israel (again spiritually born men) keep Yehovah’s ways given to them through Moses and will inherit His land.
If the people in the STATE OF ISRAEL were True Israel, they would welcome their fellow Israelites who are the doers and teachers of Yehovah’s ways; but they do not because they follow the ways of men and trust in their blood line! Paul says that not all Israel (in the flesh) is Israel (in the heart). Do you need a passport from any State of men to join yourself to True Israel?
Can True Israel even have a passport from any other government but their own? How many elohim (lawmakers and judges) can True Israel have anyway? Yehovah gave His commandments to Israel, His Ezrach men saying,
And Moses called all Israel, and said to them: “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your hearing today, that you may learn them and be careful to observe them. … ‘I am, Yehovah, thy Elohim [thy lawmaker and judge] who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ‘You shall have no other elohim existing before my face. (Deu 5:1, 6-7)
Make Aliyah And You Will Likely Perish In The Last Days
Because of this I see the man-made STATE OF ISRAEL falling before the end, just like all the other kingdoms of men on the earth. How can Yehovah allow people to stand who will not obey Him fully and who trust in their own strength? Judgement always begins in Yehovah’s house.
And Yehovah said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” (Eze 9:4)
Please do not misunderstand me; there IS a remnant of True Israel in the land which people call “Israel”, just like there is a growing remnant of True Israel spread throughout all the kingdoms of the earth even now. Yehovah will preserve the remnant of His people (with their women and their children).
I see this remnant as being the 144,000(ish), Yehovah’s servants, who have no covenants with any other elohim (for they are virgins – Rev 14) and keep the commandments of their new Elohim exclusively. In Yehovah’s time He will raise them up in their respective communities throughout the world and they will be His light that shines in the darkness.
While many of these people, true Israel, are currently weak, impoverished, unable to transact in commerce, and persecuted by both the wicked and the supposed righteous, their help will come. They will be made strong because of Yehovah’s mercy and their faithfulness. Concerning these “called out” men Yehovah says:
Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from Yehovah, and my just claim is passed over by my Elohim”? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting Elohim, Yehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall [the youth and the young men are the strength of the wicked], but those who wait on Yehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. (Isa 40:27-31)
Don’t Make Aliyah, Become Israel Where You Are And Shine The Light Of Righteousness There
Is it possible that to make aliyah is to rush, by doing in the flesh, that which Yehovah has already promised to do by His spirit? How can the world benefit of our newly acquired knowledge of Torah if we leave them before it is Yehovah’s time?
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of Yehovah is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But Yehovah will arise over you. And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes all around, and see. They all gather together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be faithful at your side. (Isa 60:1-4)
In Yehovah’s Time Israel Will Be brought Back To Him
He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble Israel’s outcasts, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Isa 11:12)
“I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back [to Him], because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside; for I am Yehovah their Elohim, and I will hear them. (Zec 10:6)
Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.’ (Neh 1:8-9)
Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. They shall be My people, and I will be their Elohim. (Jer 32:37-38)
Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your seed (men) from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth. (Isa 43:4-6)
“Then say to them, ‘Thus says my master, Yehovah: “Surely I will take Israel’s seed [perversely known as “the children of Israel}]Â from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land. (Eze 37:21)
Yehovah forced Egypt to let Israel go; and so they did. It appears to me that this time Yehovah may require the wicked nations to bring True Israel to Him.
Then they shall bring all your [Israel’s] brethren as an offering to Yehovah out of all nations, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says Yehovah. “As Israel’s seed bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yehovah. And I will also take some of them for priests and Levites,” says Yehovah. (Isa 66:20-21)
Thus says my master, Yehovah: “Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations, and set up My standard for the peoples; they shall bring thy [Israel’s] sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried on their shoulders. (Isa_49:22)
Yehovah will see that the TRUE SEED arrives in their LAND in His good time, He promised!
Until then let us all make aliyah by leaving the kingdoms of our 1st birth and the unholy covenants we have with them and join ourselves to His holy nation through repentance and expatriation.
