Precept 9 – The Kingdom of Heaven

Where is the kingdom of heaven today? Or, perhaps more aptly stated, “where is our heart today?”

Many, most, have dismissed the kingdom of heaven as a kingdom that will come after the tribulation; these folks have said that, for now, we must live according to the “laws of the land.” But this “laws of the land” false image comes only from a spirit of harlotry which we have all learned? The very reason that Yehovah’s men are commanded to wear tassels or tzitzit is so we remember to keep His commandments and not follow the harlotry to which our hearts and eyes are inclined. Does God Hear Your Prayers?

For most of my life I took it for granted that the Creator, the King of the universe heard my prayers. However now that I look back, I am forced to ask myself if I ever really even prayed. Oh yes I did throw up a petition now and then, usually for myself or my family, but rarely for others. And I assumed that those petitions were heard. After all, I prayed using the magic words “in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name.”

Yehovah spoke to Hosea saying:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your Elohim (God – lawmaker, judge), I also will forget your sons.” (Hos 4:6)

And through Isaiah He said:

“Therefore My people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” (Isa 5:13)

We do not know Yehovah’s word. Oh sure, we have memorized many of the sound bites from the “Gospels” the commentaries of Paul, Peter, James, John and Jude; but we have not learned The Word (Torah – the Law and the Prophets) that the commentaries are about and we have certainly not obeyed that word. We have been very poor Bereans and have not searched out the scriptures as they did.

“Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.” (Act 17:10-11)

What does Yehovah’s word have to say about prayer? Does Yehovah hear everyone’s prayers? Or is He a bit more selective than we might think and even hope?

Concerning Israel, Moses says:

prayer_hands_thumbnail“Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as Yehovah, my Elohim commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ For what great nation is there that has Elohim so near to it, as Yehovah our Elohim is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him? And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?” (Deu 4:5-8)

“The slaughter of the wicked is an abomination to Yehovah, but the prayers of the upright is His delight. “(Pro 15:8)

Israel’s seed is Yehovah’s special treasure; he hears the prayers of those who love Him and keep His ways, He said so! But what about those who do not? Of them he says:

“One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayers are an abomination.” (Pro 28:9)

“Then they will cry to Yehovah, but He will not hear them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, because they have been evil in their deeds.” (Mic 3:4)

“Behold, Yehovah’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your Elohim; And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.” (Isa 59:1-2)

“Thus says Yehovah to this people: ‘Thus they have loved to wander; they have not restrained their feet. Therefore Yehovah does not accept them; He will remember their iniquity now, and punish their sins.’ Then Yehovah said to me: ‘Do not pray for this people, for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry.’ ” (Jer 14:10-12)

When Solomon dedicated the first temple he seemed to know that Yehovah’s people would fall away constantly, so in His prayers of dedication He asked the Father to hear the prayers of the people when they returned to Yehovah and His ways. It is the prayer of a broken and contrite (repentant) heart, that Yehovah will always hear, even if you are a thief who is dying on a cross.

“And when they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies who led them away captive, and pray to You toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen and the temple which I have built for Your name: then hear in heaven Your dwelling place their prayers and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You; and grant them compassion before those who took them captive, that they may have compassion on them (for they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out of Egypt, out of the iron furnace), that Your eyes may be open to the supplication of Your servant and the supplication of Your people Israel, to listen to them whenever they call to You.” (1Ki 8:48-52)

“The slaughters of Elohim are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart— these, O Elohim, You will not despise.” (Psa 51:17)

So please, do not wait until you need Yehovah’s help; help that will be essential to your survival in the coming last days. Return to Him and His ways now and He will direct your heart to His ways. Then when the need arises He will hear your prayers and answer you for “what ever you call on Him for.”

While True Israel will make it their goal to learn and obey, others won’t; some prayers Yehovah hears, and some, He don’t.

What’s in a name?

Israel of old was scattered into all the nations where they have been for between 2000 and 3000 years. We were disobedient, and like a wife that will not obey her husband we were but away.

Today we are beginning to hear that very small voice in us  comes from the Creator of the universe who is calling us back to Himself. Many of us are repenting of our ways and have begun learning our Fathers ways given to us through Moses. But what do we, who want to return to our Fathers ways, call ourselves? Let’s Make Aliyah (Return to Israel) Today!

Wikipedia describes “Making Aliyah” as “Aliyah is widely regarded as an important Jewish cultural concept and a fundamental concept of Zionism that is enshrined in Israel’s Law of Return, which accords any Jew (deemed as such by halakha and/or Israeli secular law) and eligible non-Jews (a child and a grandchild of a Jew, the spouse of a Jew, the spouse of a child of a Jew and the spouse of a grandchild of a Jew), the legal right to assisted immigration and settlement in Israel, as well as automatic Israeli citizenship. Someone who “makes aliyah” is called an oleh (m. singular) or olah (f. singular); the plural for both is olim. Many Religious Jews espouse aliyah as a return to the Promised land, and regard it as the fulfillment of God’s biblical promise to the descendants of the Hebrew patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Aliyah is included as a commandment by some opinions on the enumeration of the 613 commandments.”

Oh Plllleeeease! A fundamental concept of Zionism? Israel’s Law of Return? Halakha and/or Israeli secular law? Automatic Israeli citizenship? A return to the Promised land? Aliyah is included as a commandment? Where is any of this in the Torah and the Prophets? These are all additions to Yehovah’s word – which we, and they, are not allowed to do.

I see HUGE problems with this Jewish idea of “making aliyah.” The only thing a man has to do to join himself to True Israel is repent and be baptized into the Kingdom of God (True Israel) and the Father Himself will see that we return home.

We leave Babylon, by politically expatriating (coming out) from the kingdoms of men and joining ourselves to the kingdom of God. That is TRUE ALIYAH! And, when the time comes, Yehovah will see that we get to the land which was promised to us. Continue reading Let’s Make Aliyah (Return to Israel) Today!

Sabbath is a Sign to the World

Sabbath Is A SignBeginning at sunset on Friday and ending at sunset on Saturday, Yehovah’s (the LORD’s) SABBATH IS A SIGN FOREVER between Him and His people, Israel’s seed (perversely known as “the children of Israel”)!Sabbath is a sign The Sabbath is a sign between Me and Israel’s seed forever; for in six days Yehovah made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.” (Exo 31:17)

While I am not a fan of Jim Staley, Passion for Truth Ministries or any “Christian” ministries for that matter, there are some good things in this video that people need to hear. Ha, there are many thing that I wish Jim didn’t say and and other things that I would say differently; but it is all about learning the truth concerning what Yehovah says through Moses and His other prophets. For the average “Christian” who is just starting to learn Yehovah’s eternal and unchanging ways this is a good starting place.

Jim covers many topics related to the Sabbath including: Does God care about this day? Who was it given to? How long is it to be kept? Was it changed? How is it kept? And much more.

Please keep in mind, that while the Sabbath is A sign, it is not THE sign. His Ezrach men, and those who follow them, are the people who keep this set-apart day, but keeping it DOES NOT make anyone His people. We have much to learn about how a Gentile become one of Yehovah’s called-out people.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days thou [2nd person, masculine, singular – the Ezrach man] shall labor and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yehovah, thy Elohim. In it thou shall do no work: thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy male servant, nor thy female servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger who is within thy gates. For in six days Yehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Yehovah blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. (Exo 20:8-11)

Speak thou [Moses] also unto Israel’s seed, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for the Sabbath is A sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am Yehovah, therefore it is holy unto you. Every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to Yehovah: whosoever does any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. (Exo 31:13-15)

Loving God 101

Basic information to the faith that Jesus (Yeshua) taught is that we are to leave the doctrines and traditions of men and to love Yehovah (the LORD) our God (Elohim) with all our heart and with all our souls and with all our minds. But what does that really mean?

Few people really understand that Yeshua was not “coming up” with some new teaching but instead he was quoting, word for word, right out of the Deuteronomy. What Yeshua said was so foundational to our faith that we would be lost without a true picture of what he meant. I had a false image in my mind that needed to be toppled before I could be set free.

If I had learned the principles that are taught in this free video teaching called “Loving God 101,” I would have been set free in 1975 when I recommitted my life to the Elohim of Yeshua; but I was not. Instead I was taught the traditions and doctrines of men which left me in bondage to sin for the next 25 years and finally resulted in the loss of my precious family. If you would allow me, I would like to spare you much pain in the future. The information contained in this video is for every tribe, nation, tongue and people; past, present and future.
