Precept 12 – Harlotry

Harlot, adulteress and whore are all ugly words that depict, in the scriptures, the woman who has left her rightful covering and has chosen to aligned herself with another. The translators of the scriptures often want to make this betrayal sexual rather than political; however, anyone who has given their life to the study of the scriptures knows that this is a choice regarding whom we will serve. The governments of men or the government of God.

Man was created in the image of the LORD (YHVH) God in order to promote His likeness and kingdom on the earth.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Gen 1:27)

But Chava (eve) did not obey Adam, who chose not to follow YHVH exclusively; and, as a result, were prohibited from eating from the tree of life.  Soon after the whole world left the authority of the Creator and followed the lusts of their own heart; they did evil continually!

Then YHVH saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And YHVH was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. (Gen 6:5-6)

Except for one man named Noah who walked in the ways which YHVH commanded.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of YHVH. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. (Gen 6:8-9)

Then YHVH said to Noah, “Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. (Gen 7:1)

All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died. (Gen 7:22)

Unfortunately, the post flood world still followed the harlotry of the own heart and appointed other mighty ones to rule and judge them and to fight their battles.

Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. (Gen 10:8)

Nimrod and those with him were not interested in following what they had learned about the Creator’s way through Noah, and later his son Shem, and began to make a name for themselves.

And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” (Gen 11:4)

Out of this new chaos came Abram out of the line of Shem and out of Abram YHVH chose to make for Himself a great nation in which all of the families of the earth would be blessed. But first Abram was required to leave his own country.

Now YHVH had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Gen 12:1-3)

That Nation, that Kingdom is Israel – True Israel – those who have left the kingdoms of the first birth and joined themselves to YHVH’s holy nation.

Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am YHVH; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am YHVH your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am YHVH.’ ” (Exo 6:6-8)

But YHVH knew that Israel would continue to follow the harlotry which her heart and eyes were so inclined to do. YHVH even warned her, and gave here a reminder.

Again YHVH spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel: Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of YHVH and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy for your God. I am YHVH your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am YHVH your God.”(Num 15:37-41)

But Israel played the harlot over and over and over again; and finally cast into the nations.

To Samuel Israel said, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.” But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to YHVH. And YHVH said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. (1Sa 8:5-7)

You[Israel] also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger. “Behold, therefore, I stretched out My hand against you, diminished your allotment, and gave you up to the will of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd behavior. You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied. Moreover you multiplied your acts of harlotry as far as the land of the trader, Chaldea [Babylon]; and even then you were not satisfied. “How degenerate is your heart!” says the lord YHVH, “seeing you do all these things, the deeds of a brazen harlot. (Eze 16:26-30)

Finally, Israel was kicked out of the house for being an unfaithful wife and delivered into the hands of the nations.

“When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some uncleanness in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house. (Deu 24:1)

‘Because your fathers have forsaken Me,’ says YHVH; ‘they have walked after other gods and have served them and worshiped them, and have forsaken Me and not kept My law. And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me. Therefore I will cast you out of this land into a land that you do not know, neither you nor your fathers; and there you shall serve other gods day and night, where I will not show you favor.’ (Jer 16:11-13)

Sarcastically YHVH says, “Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called Tender and delicate. Take the millstones and grind meal. Remove your veil, Take off the skirt, Uncover the thigh, Pass through the rivers. Your nakedness shall be uncovered, Yes, your shame will be seen; I will take vengeance, And I will not arbitrate with a man [the carnal man, the man of the earth].” (Isa 47:1-3)

Today, YHVH is calling to Israel saying,

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! For thus says YHVH: “You have sold yourselves for nothing, And you shall be redeemed without money.” (Isa 52:1-3)

Soon the Assyrian, the Antichrist, will oppress the world.

For thus says the Lord YHVH: “My people went down at first into Egypt to dwell there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here,” says YHVH, “That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them Make them wail,” says YHVH, “And My name is blasphemed continually, every day. (Isa 52:4-5)

YHVH’s name is blasphemed because we say we serve Him but belong to another, that is harlotry and adultery and whoredom.

Sooner or later all of YHVH’s people will come out and join themselves to His righteous nation, True Israel, or take the national ID card, and then the world one and then take the beasts mark. How long will we wait to say “enough is enough!!!” YHVH is even now raising a holy people and a holy nation who will, like Noah,  escape the coming destruction by being redeemed from the earth.  (See Revelation 14 & Ezekiel 37)

YHVH promises that Israel will again rise up and He will bring them back to their land.

“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says YHVH, “that it shall no more be said, ‘YHVH lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘YHVH lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers. (Jer 16:14-15)

Your Creator, YHVH says,

Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says YHVH of hosts: “Return to Me [you harlot, you adulterous wife],” says YHVH of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says YHVH of hosts. “Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says YHVH of hosts: “Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ‘ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says YHVH. (Zec 1:3-4)

We must repent today, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Michael have read this not once or twice and it continually speaks to me as the bigger picture Israel, and then for my own personal walk with Father. Thank you for writing these teachings for us to stay focused, and draw near to YHVH once again as we are confronted with His truths.
