The Aviv / Abib Barley + A New Moon = Hebrew New Year
This sighting of the new moon and the finding of the aviv [the start of Yehovah’s new year] means that preparation day for Passover will be 14 days later. The start of this festival always begins with a Passover slaughter for all Yehovah’s faithful Ezrach men and all other Gerim who wish to enter into covenant with Him on this moed (His appointed time).
Are You Ready For Passover?
Only the Ezrach and the the Ger (who dwell with them) can draw near and partake of Passover; and only AFTER the Ger has been circumcised in the flesh (with all the men of his household). When the Ger eats it he becomes as one born in the land, an Ezrach, and enters into covenant with Yehovah for the first time. And when the Ezrach eats it, he renews His covenant with Yehovah for yet another year.
And when a stranger [Ger] dwells with you [the Ezrach] and wants to keep the Passover to Yehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall become as a native of the land [Ezrach]. For no uncircumcised person shall eat it. (Exo 12:48)
Who are the Ger and the Ezrach? That is something you need to discover quickly because there are no Gentiles in Yehovah’s kingdom; there are only men who WERE Gentiles. These precious men left the kingdom of their birth and then joined themselves to Yehovah and His called out men. And then, at a real Passover, they enter into covenant with Yehovah and become His Ezrach men. This is how a man’s sins are forgiven!
Below is a link to the 1st of a 4 part series of articles discussing how a Gentile becomes a Ger. It is a great place to start for those who want to learn Yehovah’s set-apart ways and be prepared for Passover.
