Enosh – Mortal Man

“What is enosh [אנושׁman, pronounced e-noosh’] that You remember him, and the son [בן– ben] of man [אדם – adam] that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the Elohim (God, not angels), and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen– even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O Yehovah, our master, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!” Psa 8:4-9

“What is enosh [אנושׁ man], that You should exalt him, that You should set Your heart on him, that You should visit him every morning, and test him every moment?” (Job 7:17-18)

“Thou turns enosh [אנושׁman] to contrition; and says: ‘Return, you son of man [אדם adam].” (Psa 90:3)

The psalmist quoted above wrote what is enosh [אנושׁman] that You “remember” and ” visit” him? Yehovah, our Creator, made the man to have dominion over the earth. Unfortunately for men today, this is not the case because of our rebellion to Yehovah’s ways and our love for the ways of men.

Yehovah is mindful of the enosh (אנוש] who will humbly make His ways their ways, but not men in general. He does not even hear the prayer of a man who does not love His Torah, His instructions concerning how all men are to live and guide their families. Knowing who we are in relation to our Creator will give our minds a clearer image to build His truth on and the right attitudes to commune with Yehovah as He desires.

What is man (enosh)? Continue reading Enosh – Mortal Man

The Land And The Seed

the land and the seed
The Seed begins to take the Land and it starts with a great shaking.

The Sabbath class I taught below concludes our 3 year process of going through Torah and the book of Yasher. We finished Deuteronomy last week, and Yasher and five chapters from Joshua this week. And, I was pleased to see in both that Yehovah fulfilled His word to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel; the promise concerning the land and the seed. Over and over He talked about the land and the seed, the land and the seed, the land and the seed.

And Yehovah appeared unto Abram, and said, unto thy seed will I give this land: and there he built an altar unto Yehovah, who appeared unto him. (Gen 12:7)

For all the land which thou see, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. (Gen 13:15)

In the same day Yehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates. (Gen 15:18)

And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their Elohim. (Gen 17:8)

Yehovah, Elohim of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that swore unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a woman unto my son from thence. (Gen 24:7)

Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I swore unto Abraham thy father. (Gen 26:3)

That you may prolong your days in the land which Yehovah swore to give your fathers, to them and their seed, ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’ (Deu 11:9)

I really like this word seed. It was while we were going through Torah these past 3 years that I came to understand Israel as Yehovah’s spiritually born seed. Beni Israel is Israel’s seed, His Ezrach men who came into covenant with Him at Passover and who produce spiritual seed after His and their own kind.

We saw clearly this week that these spiritual men are the seed which inherits the land which Yehovah promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and to all His heir, His seed. Listen to the last word of Moses.

Then Israel shall dwell in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone [Jacob’s spiritual seed], in a land of grain and new wine; His heavens shall also drop dew. Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by Yehovah, a shield of your help and a sword of your majesty! Your enemies shall submit to you, and you shall tread down their high places.” (Deu 33:28-29)

And the last chapter of Jasher said,

Yasher 91:15 And Yehovah gave to Israel’s seed the whole land of Canaan, as he had sworn to their ancestors, and Yehovah gave them rest from those around them, and Israel’s seed dwelt securely in their cities.
16 Blessed be Yehovah for ever, amen, and amen.

But all this is still the shadow picture of a much grander image. Yehovah told both ‘ha-adam’ and Noah to be fruitful and fill the earth; and Yehovah does not speak idle words. What He says is going to be done.

The earth is Yehovah’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. Psa 24:1

Right now Yehovah is raising up a people, His servants, men who have made covenant with Him by slaughter, His kind, who will inherit the earth, be fruitful and multiply in it. But first we will have to do what we did in Canaan.

Yasher 89:48 And he [Joshua] passed from them to all the cities of the kings which he had smitten, and he smote all the people who were left of them and he utterly destroyed them.
49 Only their booty and cattle the Israelites took to themselves as a prey, but every human being they smote, they suffered not a soul to live.
50 As Yehovah had commanded Moses, so did Joshua and all Israel; they failed not in anything.

Will you (men) leave the kingdom of your birth and join yourselves (and your family) to Yehovah’s people, True Israel? Or, will be part of the coming purge? Only the seed will inherit the land!

Yehovah’s Servants (4) – A Woman Of Value Will Live

woman of worth. woman of value, a woman of worth, worthy woman, Proverbes 31 woman, Proverbs 31 10Surviving the coming last days is all about conforming our lives (both for men and their women) to Yehovah’s created purpose. Noah’s woman (Na·a·mah’, a woman of value) made it alive through the flood because her man, her place of safety, “walked with Yehovah,” not her.

[Note: If you have not read the three previous parts of this series please read them now; this article is best understood in the context of the other three. Here are links to them all; Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.]

The Woman of Value Will Live

Jasher gives some interesting information concerning Naamah. She was the daughter of Enoch who was taught how to be a woman of value from one of the most righteous men who ever lived on the earth.

Yasher 5:12 Noah the son of Lamech refrained from taking a woman in those days, to beget sons, for he said, Surely now Elohim will destroy the earth, wherefore then shall I beget sons?
13 And Noah was a just man, he was perfect in his generation, and Yehovah chose him to raise up seed from his seed upon the face of the earth.
14 And Yehovah said unto Noah, Take unto thee a woman, and beget sons, for I have seen thee righteous before me in this generation.
15 And thou shalt raise up seed, and thy sons with thee, in the midst of the earth; and Noah went and took a woman, and he chose Naamah the daughter of Enoch, and she was five hundred and eighty years old.
16 And Noah was four hundred and ninety-eight years old, when he took Naamah for his woman.

Noah was 82 years younger than Naamah but Yehovah used her, at 580 years of age, to give Noah 3 sons. So, for those of you who think you are too old, it appears to me that age is irrelevant.

Isaiah says,

But those who wait on Yehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. (Isa 40:31)

When these men renew their strength, is it too far-fetched to think that their women (bone of their bone and flesh of their flesh) will not also renew their strength?

We have seen that all the servants of Yehovah, those who will be used by Him to deliver His people from their Egypt (their Babylon), are men, not women. And we left off in part 3 asking how do women fit into this picture and what hope does each have for the coming last days. I think Naamah is a great example of this.

We will see, in the coming last days, that men and single women will be the first to perish from the earth. Men, because they failed to lead their families in the way they should go; and single woman because they failed to become what Yehovah created them to be, an “aide suitable” for their man. This is made very clear in my writing about “The creation of woman.” It was to the woman who Yehovah said,

… your desire shall be for thy man [אישׁך, thy eesh], and he shall rule over thee [not Yehovah].” (Gen 3:16)

I grieve when I read how most Bibles translate the above verse; they use the words “thy husband” instead of “thy man.” But the man, who a woman of value is laying down her life to serve, is not always her “husband.” This man can be a “husband,” but he can also be a father, grandfather, uncle, male cousin, adult son or even her master  (in the case of a maid-servant). The point I am trying to make here is a woman MUST learn to lay down her life in service to her man!

A woman without a man in her life has no access to Yehovah; she can not participate in Passover (a feast for only men) in order to have her sins forgiven, she can not go into the temple, and can not bring any kind of offering to Yehovah. In fact, the only time a woman is brought into the temple is when she is in trouble for not holding true to her man (see Numbers 5).

So how does a woman protect herself? The answer to this question is not “politically correct,” and not one that most women want to hear. But just as every man has rebelled from doing what Yehovah created him to do, so has every woman. As a man needs to learn to become a righteous man, so must a woman learn to become a woman of worth. (Note: You must visit this link, I have much to say concerning how a woman becomes a woman of value.)

Being conformed into the man (or woman) that we were created to be, does not happen by accident; it is a daily process of laying down our life in service to our master; Yehovah, for a man and “her man,” for a woman.

Abigail was married to a very wicked and foolish man, his name was Nabal.

The name of the man was Nabal, and the name of his woman was Abigail. And she was a woman of good understanding and beautiful appearance; but the man was harsh and evil in his doings. He was of the house of Caleb. (1Sa 25:3)

When David came to destroy Nabal and all the men of his household it was Abigail who intervened to save her man. She in essence said “kill me, not my man!

So she fell at his feet and said: “On me, my lord [a woman only calls a man adoni, never Yehovah], on me let this iniquity be! And please let your maidservant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your maidservant. (1Sa 25:24)

The story of David, a man with a heart for Yehovah, and Abigail is a shadow picture of exactly what is going to happen in the coming last days. David is likened to the “servants of Elohim,” the saints, His kind,” or a.k.a. “the 144,000” which this series is all about; and Abigail is likened to all women of worth, each woman who has learned to lay down their lives in service to their man. I talk about this comparison at length in my video called “The 144,000 in the Scriptures.”

That night Nabal had what appears to be a stroke, and within about 10 days he died.

I am sure when David saw the respect and wisdom that Abigail had shown him and the selflessness she had shown towards her man, he must have said to himself what I thought when I read this story, “I need to find myself a woman of value like this one.” So when David heard that Nabal had died, he sent servants to Abigail to ask her to be his woman. Listen to her answer, it makes me weep when I hear what she says to David’s servants.

Then she arose, bowed her face to the earth, and said, “Here is your maidservant, a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.” (1Sa 25:41)

Oh my, Abigail was a woman of value and an extra-mile girl like Rebecca who knew the importance of being covered by a righteous man and understood how it would affect her eternity. She knew David had other women, and that she would be his 2nd or 3rd woman.

Well, as I said, this story is a shadow picture of the coming last days. Women are even now beginning to realize how important it is to their eternity that each of them learn to become a woman of value in serving their man. And for those who do not have a man in their life currently, finding one to serve is a priority.

There is a reason, in the last days, 7 women will take hold of one man and say,

“We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.” (Isa 4:1)

What is the “reproach” that these 7 women have in their life?

Answer: They do not belong to a man and now they realize that in order to be a woman of value they must belong to and serve some man. But these women are wiser than most, they know Torah and phrase their request in light of it. See any similarities here?

If he takes another woman, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marriage rights. (Exo 21:10)

Righteous men, who have left the kingdom of their birth and now only serve Yehovah are not the rich men of the world; and like me, often live from day-to-day. Being able to afford to bring a woman into my life and my 8′ by 12′ room is just not a possibility; the donations I receive barely feed me.

But these women, who understand Torah, are bringing resources with them.

What does it mean to be “called by your name?” Does it mean they are sexually intimate with this man? Or does it mean that they are his possessions? Is not a man’s servant also called by his name? How about His maid-servant? This reminds me of the question Boaz asked when he saw Ruth for the first time.

Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?” (Rth 2:5)

This is the question every woman must ask herself. “Whose woman am I?”

Mark my words, they will go down in your permanent record in heaven. “A woman MUST have a man in her life whom she is learning to serve with all her heart, with all her soul and with all her strength. THAT is her place of safety!

Next time we will talk about what it means to be “defiled with women.” David’s first woman will be used for an example of a woman who tried to defile him; I love his reaction to her.

Wow – so much to learn, so little time.

Yehovah’s Servants (3) – A Virgin Daughter of Babylon

This is part 3 of a series about Yehovah’s called-out and set-apart men (many call them the 144,000) of the last days who will lead many out of their Egypt, their Babylon. If you have not already done so, please read Part 1 – The virgin of Israel and Part 2 – The saints, His Kind first.

Israel, Yehovah’s seed and spiritually born men (eesh) were all once just the sons of Jacob. We were chosen and set apart by Him because of His relationship with their fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But we were an unfaithful people (harlots/adulterers) who left Yehovah and made covenants with and served the elohim (lawmakers and judges) of the nations which were all around us. First we served the Egyptians, then the Assyrians and finally the Babylonians.

harlot
This is harlot Israel!

You also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger. … You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied. Moreover you multiplied your acts of harlotry as far as the land of the trader, Chaldea [Babylon]; and even then you were not satisfied. “How degenerate is your heart!” says my master, Yehovah, “seeing you do all these things, the deeds of a brazen harlot. “You erected your shrine at the head of every road, and built your high place in every street [there is a “Church,” a place of false worship on practically every large street in America]. Yet you were not like a harlot, because you scorned payment. You are an adulterous woman, who takes strangers instead of her man [אישׁה, eesh]. (Eze 16:26-32)

Israel, Yehovah’s bride, His saints who made covenant with him by slaughter [we saw this in part 2] were to be His special treasure (His segulah), pure, spotless and untainted by the world.

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant [we did it once at Passover, but we need to continue], then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests [Yehovah only has male priests] and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to Israel’s seed.” Exo 19:5-6

We were so unfaithful to Yehovah that He finally sent us away and cast us into all the nation of the world.

And I will judge you as women who break wedlock or shed blood are judged; I will bring blood upon you in fury and jealousy. I will also give you into their hand, and they shall throw down your shrines and break down your high places. They shall also strip you of your clothes, take your beautiful jewelry, and leave you naked and bare. (Eze 16:38-39)

And this is the condition we have been in for about 2500 years. We have been in Babylon [Here is a great link to help you understand what Babylon is.] for so long that we do not  even know who we are supposed to be.

Virgin Daughter of Babylon“Come away from her son, she is being disciplined!”

“Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate. Take the millstones and grind meal [become their servants]. Remove your veil, take off the skirt, uncover the thigh [take off your garments of righteousness], pass through the rivers [the people who dwell on earth]. Your nakedness shall be uncovered, yes, your shame will be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will not arbitrate with a man [אדם, a·dam’, a man of the flesh].” (Isa 47:1-3)

We, I, men, have been in Babylon our entire life and are sarcastically, and legitimately, called a “virgin daughter of Babylon” and a “daughter of the Chaldeans” by Yehovah;” we have NEVER BEEN His and have always and faithfully served in Babylon.

A virgin daughter of Babylon is the antonym of the virgin of Israel; just as the sons of belial are to the righteous and upright men of Yehovah. The first has covenants with, and serves in, the kingdoms of the world; and the latter is in covenant with Yehovah and serves only Him.

Now, please compare the following verse with the one above, Isaiah 47:1-3.

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments [the garments of righteousness], O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come to you. Shake yourself from the dust, arise; sit down [on your throne], O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion [Zion, Jerusalem, and “the holy city” are all synonyms for Yehovah’s spiritually born men]! For thus says Yehovah, “You have sold yourselves for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.” (Isa 52:1-3)

Awake! Awake! This is my message for you today and the same message of the Song of Songs!

You (men) can become one of the great ones in the future; part of the “male-child” and one of the el who will rule with Yehovah in the Millennial kingdom.

Even now Yehovah is raising up a people for Himself. They are all men who will leave the kingdom of their birth, join themselves to Yehovah and His other called-out men as a Ger; and then draw near at Passover and become His segulah, His special treasure, His Ezrach man. THIS IS THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE and this is the “one new man.” This man, because of this spiritual birth, has now ALWAYS been Yehovah’s and therefore eligible to become His spouse. Yes, even Yehovah is a polygynist. 😉

“Then shall the virgin [בתולה, be·thu·lah] rejoice in the dance, young men [ובחרים, ba·chu·rim] and the old, together; for I will turn their mourning to joy, will comfort them, and make them rejoice rather than sorrow. (Jer 31:13)

For as a young man [בחור, ba·chur’] marries [יבעל, ba’·al – masters] a virgin [בתולה, be·thu·lah], So Thou shall marry [יבעלוך, ba’·al – master ] Thy sons [בניך, possessive and plural form of ben]; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride , so shall thy Elohim rejoice over thee. (Isa 62:5)

The virgin of Israel, who was a virgin daughter of Babylon, is Yehovah’s Ezrach man and Yehovah’s future bride. Yeshua is NOT the groom, he is just one more bride to be. All the NT “bride of christ” nonsense is yet one more false image which we have adopted that simply has no foundation in Yehovah’s eternal and unchanging words given through Moses and His other prophets.

Right now Yehovah is raising up the old dry bones of many a daughter of Babylon (many a man) and drawing him near to Himself; and it is at Passover, the Time of Life, that He will breathe the breath of life into him. THIS is how a nation will be born in a single day. Everyone else will remain the walking dead of the earth.

But like so much of what I write, this is all about men; and I am sure there are many ladies asking, “What about us? Where do we fit into all this? Well, in part 4 I hope to answer those questions both to your satisfaction and in accordance with Yehovah’s word; at the very least, the latter. Surviving the coming last days is all about conforming our lives (both men and their women) to Yehovah’s created purpose for them. Noah’s woman (Na·a·mah’) made it alive through the flood because her man “walked with Yehovah.”

Mysterious Word TODAY In Deuteronomy

Approximately 50 times Moses talks about this mysterious word TODAY in Deuteronomy.

Our lesson began with us seeing, what appears to be, two covenants which Yehovah made with Israel’s seed (falsely know as “the children of Israel”).  One covenant  was made at Horeb/Sinai (with the Elohim on the mountain) and another covenant in Moab.

These are the words of the covenant which Yehovah commanded Moses to make with Israel’s seed in the land of Moab, separate from the covenant which He made with them in Horeb. (Deu 29:1)

Has Yehovah really made two covenants with Israel’s seed? What does it take to make a covenant with Yehovah? And how does Passover fit into these understandings?

A covenant, a ber·eeth, requires the slaughter of an animal. Did that happen with these men in Moab?

Moses starts using this mysterious word TODAY in Deuteronomy 1 and continues through chapter 32.

Today in DeuteronomyYehovah, your Elohim has multiplied you, and here you are today, as the stars of heaven in multitude. (Deu 1:10)

But you who held fast to Yehovah, your Elohim are alive today, every one of you. (Deu 4:4)

To whom is Moses speaking?

“Therefore you shall love Yehovah, your Elohim, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always. Know today that I do not speak with your sons, who have not known and who have not seen the chastening of Yehovah, your Elohim, His greatness and His mighty hand and His outstretched arm—His signs and His acts which He did in the midst of Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to all his land. (Deu 11:1-3)

Because we have failed to see just who the men are who have Yehovah as their only Elohim; we have created many false images in or minds that prevent us from gaining even deeper understandings concerning Yehovah’s word and ways..

What day is this mysterious TODAY in Deuteronomy and what makes it special? And why is there so much written in Deuteronomy that DOES NOT agree with Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers? Is it possible that these two questions have related answers?

We had much to talk about this week and I hope you will enjoy this lesson as much as we did.

If you find what I have to say interesting, then please subscribe to my YouTube channel. Soon we will be beginning anew from Genesis 1; you will not want to miss all the new insights I have gained over the last 3 years and can now apply to that material.
