“Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to Elohim the things that are Elohim’s.” (Mat 22:21)
Most people just assume that Yeshua did render to Caesar the tribute money. This idea is very troubling to me because I see many times where a story in the New Testament has been twisted 180 out of sync to justify the harlotry to which our own hearts and eyes are inclined. As I have stated in the past, this is why Yehovah’s men wear tzitzit.
Again Yehovah spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel: Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of Yehovah and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy for your God. (Num 15:37-41

After Yeshua (Jesus) died and had risen, it was Peter who said, in his typical, unthinking, fleshly, Neanderthal manner “I’m goin’ fishin’!” and then took six of Yeshua’s disciples with Him. Fishing is how he had always made his living; so he was returning to his old ways of providing for his flesh.
It is my firm belief that our Creator has a destiny, an eternal purpose for each of our lives and it is my wish to effect those around me to embrace all that our dear Fathers has for them. We, His people, were not meant to be the slaves to this world; but rather the leaders, teachers, kings and priests of a holy nation and to demonstrate for the world the ways of Yehovah, so that they too may walk in them.
