Yehovah’s Servants (7) Shalach – The Sent One

sent oneAnd one [a seraphim] cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is Yehovah of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man [eesh] of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Yehovah of hosts.”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.” Also I heard the voice of Yehovah, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” (Isa 6:3-8)

Oh, how I want to say those words, “hin-Ni  she-la-Che-ni” to Yehovah; I WILL be ready when he calls because I am sold out for Him and have no covenants with any other elohim (lawmakers and judges).

[Note: This series begins here: 144,000 – Virgin of Israel]

Everyone will recognize Yehovah’s shalach or “sent one” as the last days begin; each one will have a pillar of fire and smoke over his head as a sign that Yehovah dwells with him.

The sent one is an amazing being. Ha – I said “being,” and can not think of another word to describe them; in part 2 I talked about them as being Yehovah’s khaw·seed, His kind, His seed and His heir. They are so much more than the Ger (the man who has repented, left the kingdom of his birth and joined himself to Yehovah and His seed, His born in the land men). And a Gentile, the walking dead of the earth, who still serves in the kingdom of men is nothing compared to even the Ger. But this rebellious Gentile can repent and become a Ger, and then, at Passover, he too can become Yehovah’s spiritual seed.

The shalach, Yehovah’s sent one, has His authority; the things he says, does, and the decisions he makes are all as if Yehovah had said, done and made them. Moses was a sent one of Yehovah. Many times he said and did things without specific instructions from Yehovah. Each sent one who Yehovah raises up and seals in the last days, to fulfill His purposes, will seem like a “God” to the world, just as Moses seemed to Aaron and Pharaoh.

Now you [Moses] shall speak to him [Aaron] and put the words in his mouth. And I [Yehovah] will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God [לאלהים]. (Exo 4:15-16).

So Yehovah said to Moses: “See, I have made thee Elohim [אלהים] to Pharaoh, and Aaron, thy brother, shall be thy prophet. (Exo 7:1)

The sent one whom Yehovah is raising from their dry bones, in thousand of locations all over the earth, will lead the people who join them in their gates just as Moses did. Each man who joins himself (and his family) to them will find provision, protection from the world and be taught the correct way for a man and for a woman to live on the earth. Each sent one will see eye to eye with every other sent one when Yehovah brings back Zion (His spiritual people).

Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when Yehovah brings back Zion. (Isa 52:8)

Each sent one only needs to speak, and miraculous signs will follow. I think this is the reason that Moses failed to make it into the promised land; he was supposed to “speak to the rock” the second time and instead He hit it with the rod of Elohim, just like he did to the rock at Horeb. What he did violated a shadow picture for a future time when there is not going to be a rod for all of Yehovah’s sent ones.

There shall come forth a twig from the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots [this is a spiritual branch, not a flesh one]. The spirit of Yehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yehovah. His delight is in the fear of Yehovah, and he shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, nor decide by the hearing of his ears; but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth. He shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. (Isa 11:1-4)

As I said in part 6 of this series, the sent one who is redeemed from among men lives through the great and awesome day of Yehovah (just like Noah lived through the flood) and possibly through the entire millennial kingdom. But there is still something even more”God like” concerning each of these men; they can not be killed.

Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of Yehovah is coming, for it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them, even for many successive generations.
As mighty ones [giv·vo·Rim] they run, they climb the wall like men of war; every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. And a man shall not trust another; every one marches in his own column. Though upon the weapon they fall, they shall not be wounded. (Joe 2:1-8)

Those who come to Yehovah will be happy and content for almost a whole year after they join themselves (and their families) to the sent one nearest them. But in one single day something is going to happen which will turn the whole earth into a desolation and a wilderness. And it will be at this time that we will see these sent ones, these beings, these mighty ones go to war as the arm of Yehovah. You thought they seemed like “Gods” already? Wait until you see them fight. When the strength of the world comes against them, you will see Yehovah defend the few against the many.

The light of Elohim begins to shine in the midst of a very dark world. The 70 nations are now gathered with Nimrod (and his princes) at the helm. They are leading all of ha-a-dam’s seed into ways they should not go. It is in this context that the light of Yehovah is raised for all to see in the life of Abram who, we will see in future lessons, warns Nimrod to turn from his wicked ways.

And they [Nimrod and his princes] said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” (Gen 11:4)

Yasher 8:21 And all the princes of Nimrod and his great men took counsel together; Phut, Mitzraim, Cush and Canaan with their families, and they said to each other, Come let us build ourselves a city and in it a strong tower, and its top reaching heaven, and we will make ourselves famed, so that we may reign upon the whole world, in order that the evil of our enemies may cease from us, that we may reign mightily over them, and that we may not become scattered over the earth on account of their wars.

These wicked men, Ham’s seed, are rebelling against every thing that Yehovah has commanded them.

So Elohim blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. (Gen 9:1)

We are still building Nimrodian kingdoms for ourselves, and establishing our own statutes, and ordinances and judgments; nothing has changed! Yehovah saw what was happening in Babylon and divided the people, the men (with their families), all over the face of the earth. We can read this story in the first part of Genesis 11.

The remainder of this chapter is all about the genealogy of Shem through Abram. It is in this context, of the rebellion of ha-a-dam’s seed, in which Yehovah brings great light in into our very dark world through his current Melchizedek, Shem.

The Melchizedek, the highest ranking member in Yehovah’s kingdom on the earth, who came from the line of Seth, and then the line of Shem after the flood. Each Melchizedek had the rod of Elohim passed down to him by the previous Melchizedek. It went from Adam, to Enoch, to Methuselah, to Noah, to Shem, to Abraham, to Jacob, to Joseph, and finally it came to Moses just before he brought Yehovah’s people out of the land of Egypt. Noah Cursed Canaan?

Part of the portion that we went through in our class this week was an “incident” between Noah and His youngest son, Ham.

And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and went backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father’s nakedness. So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him. Then he said: “Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants he shall be to his brethren.” (Gen 9:20-25)

What?! Ham did something to his father and Noah cursed Canaan?

What do we know about Ham from Torah? Practically nothing. He does not seem any different from either of his two older brothers, Japheth and Shem.

But Yasher gives us some very interesting clues as to the temperament of Ham. I like that word Temperament. “The manner of thinking, behaving, or reacting characteristic of a specific person.”

Get this! Yasher does not even record the birth of Ham. His name is not even mentioned until after everyone comes out of the ark.  And here is the only thing Yasher tells us about the birth of Japheth and Shem, and their early years.

Yasher 5:16 And Noah was four hundred and ninety-eight years old, when he took Naamah for his woman.
17 And Naamah conceived and bare a son, and he called his name Japheth, and Noah said, Elohim (the law-maker and judge) has enlarged me in the earth; and she conceived again and bare a son, and he called his name Shem, and Noah said, Elohim has made me a remnant, to raise up seed in the midst of the earth.
18 And Noah was five hundred and two years old when Naamah bare Shem, and the boys grew up and went in the ways of Yehovah, in all that Methuselah and Noah their father taught them.

It appears to me that Ham did not sit at the feet of Methuselah and Noah, learning Yehovah’s ways. Was he a man of the flesh and not interested in spiritual things?

Noah did what he could to provide women of worth for his 3 sons.

Yasher 5:32 And thou shalt choose for thy sons three maidens, from ha-a-dam’s seed, and they shall be thy sons women.
35 Then Noah took the three daughters of Eliakim, son of Methuselah, as women for his sons, as Yehovah had commanded Noah.

The next time we learn something about Ham it is not sequential but it discusses something that happened just as Noah and his sons were leaving the ark. Ham is stealing something of great value, both historically and tangibly.

Jasher 7:23 And Cush the son of Ham, the son of Noah, took a woman in those days in his old age, and she bare a son, and they called his name Nimrod, saying, At that time ha-a-dam seed again began to rebel and transgress against Elohim. And the boy grew up, and his father loved him exceedingly, for he was the son of his old age.
24 And the garments of skin which Elohim made for Adam and his woman, when they went out of the garden, were given to Cush. [This was the big picture, now let’s find out how that happened.]
25 For after the death of Adam and his women, the garments were given to Enoch, the son of Jared, and when Enoch was taken up to Elohim, he gave them to Methuselah, his son.
26 And at the death of Methuselah, Noah took them and brought them to the ark, and they were with him until he went out of the ark.
27 And in their going out, Ham stole those garments from Noah his father, and he took them and hid them from his brothers.
28 And when Ham begat his first-born Cush, he gave him the garments in secret, and they were with Cush many days.
29 And Cush also concealed them from his sons and brothers, and when Cush had begotten Nimrod, he gave him those garments through his love for him, and Nimrod grew up, and when he was twenty years old he put on those garments.

Nimrod became “the profaned mighty one” on the earth when he put on those garments.

So even as Ham stole those garments from His Father, garments which were to be possessed by righteous men, Ham appears to be thinking ahead in anticipation of his seed becoming elohim in the earth. I wonder if Noah knew it was Ham who stole the garments from him? I think he did.

Now we come to the topic of this article. What did Ham do to his father? In the beginning of this section it says that Ham “saw the nakedness of his father.” So are we to believe that he saw his dad in the buff? Yeah, right! They were all together on the same boat for more than a year. Where in Torah does it say “you shall not see your father nude”? How about your mother, or any man or any woman? It is not there.

No, there is more to this story which only those with discerning eyes can see. The answer is found line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little. Seeing “the nakedness of one’s father or mother” usually means that a man has taken his mother or his father’s woman. It is a euphemism, a nice way of saying “don’t have sexual relations with a near of kin.”

The nakedness of your father or the nakedness of your mother you shall not uncover. She is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness. The nakedness of your father’s woman you shall not uncover; it is your father’s nakedness. (Lev 18:7-8)

But Ham did not take his own mother or his father’s woman; which in this case is the same person, Naamah. No, it appears to me that Ham took his own father and humbled him while he was in a weakened state. Remember what Noah had understood after he awoke.

So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him. (Gen 9:24)

Was this egregious sin the result of Ham being in an unofficial subservient position in his family due to his lack of interest in spiritual matters? Is it possible that his love of the world and his frustrations in his life finally manifested in the humbling of his father Noah, a wholly righteous man?

So now the question you should be asking is why does Torah say that “Noah cursed Canaan”? Canaan is the youngest of 4 brothers, why not curse Cush?

Ham’s seed were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. (Gen 10:6)

Noah said,

Then he said: “Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.” (Gen 9:25)

So is Canaan to serve Cush, Mizraim and Put, his brethren? Who did those men serve?

No, there is more to understand in this as well; and you will have to watch the video to get “the rest of the story.”

And for the rest of you pitiful individuals who want to use this story to support your racist beliefs, Yehovah is telling Ham and His seed, men of the flesh, to serve Yehovah’s spiritual men. And that is how it will end at the end of this world also; flesh men will serve spiritual men or perish from the earth once again.

Yehovah’s Servants (6) – Redeemed From Among Men

The number “144,000” comes from the NT commentaries, NOT Yehovah’s eternal and unchanging word; and because of that, it is not a number that I am going to “hang my hat on.” But Yehovah is, even now, raising up a people (men) who will serve only Him in these last days, just as He said He would.

[Note: This series is best understood from the beginning; here is Part 1.]

redeemed from among menAnd who is like Thy people, like Israel, the one nation on the earth whom Elohim [the lawmaker and judge] went to redeem for Himself as a people, to make for Himself a name—and to do for thyself great and awesome deeds for thy land—before thy people whom Thou redeemed for thyself from Egypt, the nations, and their elohim? For Thou have made Thy people, Israel thy very own people forever; and Thou, Yehovah, have become their Elohim. (2Sa 7:23-24)

But now, thus says Yehovah, who created thee, O Jacob [flesh birth], and He who formed thee, O Israel [spiritual birth]: “Fear not, for I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name; thou are Mine. When thou pass through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walk through the fire, thou shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch thee. For I am Yehovah, thy Elohim, the Holy One of Israel, thy savior; I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in thy place. Since thou are precious in My sight, thou has been honored, and I have loved thee; therefore I will give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not, for I am with thee; I will bring thy descendants [seed, spiritual men] from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters [a woman is a daughter if she is bone of her man’s bone] from the ends of the earth—everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” (Isa 43:1-7)

Oh, give thanks to Yehovah, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of Yehovah say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy [other men – belial’s seed], and gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, From the north and from the south. They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way; they found no city to dwell in. Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to Yehovah in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses; and He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to an encampment for a dwelling place. (Psa 107:1-7)

These “servants” of Yehovah in Jeremiah 23 are called by many names; the banner, the branch of righteousness, his arm, the male-child, the Ezrach man, Israel’s seed, the watchmen, a people great and strong, and a wild ox, just to name a few. This people is true Israel, the men Yehovah is raising up to be His shalachim, His sent ones, in the coming last days. And these are the men who are redeemed from among men. I talk about all these names in my video called the “144,000 in the scriptures.”

But what does it mean to be “redeemed from among men,” and how and when does it happen?

The word redeemed is the Hebrew word ga·al’ [גאל]; and a man is redeemed by his near of kin.

H1350    גַּאל    gā’al: A verb meaning to redeem or act as a kinsman-redeemer. The word means to act as a redeemer for a deceased kinsman (Rth_3:13); to redeem or buy back from bondage (Lev_25:48)

Yehovah told Moses, to tell pharaoh, to “let Israel, My son, My firstborn go that he may serve  me.” And through Isaiah He says,

For thus says Yehovah: “You have sold yourselves for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.” (Isa_52:3)

Right now we (men) can leave our Egypt freely and choose to serve only Yehovah; and then, at Passover, become Yehovah’s spiritual seed (His son) and the first-fruits of His spiritual kingdom.

They sang, as it were, a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. (4) These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes Yehovah. These were redeemed from among men, being first-fruits to Elohim. and to the Lamb. (Rev 14:3-4)

[Note: You will have to read part 5 of this series to understand my very purposeful strike-outs above.]

All Israel’s first-fruits and those males who open the womb (the matrix) always belong to Yehovah. We bring the first-fruits and our first-born to Yehovah because He is the one who gives us the increase of our body, our animals, and the things that come from the ground (which he also gave to us). It is during Shavuot that we bring the first-fruits of the wheat harvest to wave before Yehovah; and it will be on Shavuot that Yehovah seals and sets-apart those shepherds who are redeemed from among men for His purpose.

All men come from the dust and they all will also return to the dust.

In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” (Gen 3:19)

All flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust. (Job 34:15)

You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. (Psa 104:29)

All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. (Ecc 3:20)

But these servants are like Noah, wholly righteous men (enoshim); and, like him, they too will be coming through the last days of our world alive. And more, they will be “the great ones” in the millennial kingdom and the rulers, the el, over each of their gates.

I have a hunch that all these spiritually born men, true Ezrach Israel, the virgin,  those who separated themselves from the world in order to wholly follow Yehovah in all His ways, may never die. Their women, their children and perhaps even their servants who come through  the destruction of the earth with them may eventually perish in the new world. But is it possible that these spiritual men, selected and set-apart by Yehovah to be redeemed from the earth may live for the whole 1000 years?

The way of Yehovah is strength for the upright, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not inhabit the earth. The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut out. (Pro 10:29-31)

Behold, the day of Yehovah comes, cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it. (Isa 13:9)

For Yehovah loves justice, and does not forsake His saints (his khaw·seed); they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever. (Psa 37:28-29)

“Gather My saints (My khaw·seed) together to Me, those who have cut a covenant with Me by slaughter.” (Psa 50:5)

Regardless of whether or not they live the whole of the 1000 years, what is important is that they will be renewed in their strength and there will be no week or feeble men among them; regardless of their present age and physical condition.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting Elohim, Yehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. … but those who wait on Yehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. (Isa 40:28-31)

The world will be in awe of these wholly righteous men who speak and act on behalf of Yehovah. Next time I will discuss how these shepherds will carry themselves during Israel’s three and one half years in the wilderness.

The Sons Of Men

It was while I was studying for this week’s Sabbath class on Genesis 5 and its corresponding material in the book of Yasher that I came upon the phrase “the sons of men” which piqued my interest. It was used 5 times in 4 verses.

Yasher 2:1 And it was in the hundred and thirtieth year of the life of Adam the sons of men thumbnailupon the earth, that he again knew Eve his woman, and she conceived and bare a son in his likeness and in his image, and she called his name Seth, saying, because Elohim has appointed me another seed in the place of Abel, for Cain has slain him.
2 And Seth lived one hundred and five years, and he begat a son; and Seth called the name of his son Enosh, saying, because in that time the sons of men began to multiply, and to afflict their souls and hearts by transgressing and rebelling against Elohim [the only true lawmaker and judge].
3 And it was in the days of Enosh that the sons of men continued to rebel and transgress against Elohim, to increase the anger of Yehovah against the sons of men.
4 And the sons of men went and they served other elohim, and they forgot Yehovah who had created them in the earth: and in those days the sons of men made images of brass and iron, wood and stone, and they bowed down and served them.
5 And every man made his elohim and bowed down to it, and the sons of men forsook Yehovah all the days of Enosh and his sons; and the anger of Yehovah was kindled on account of their works and abominations which they did in the earth.

Who are these people who are forsaking Yehovah and choosing new elohim (lawmakers and judges) and then, and even worse, making idols and serving them.

That is a violation of both the first and the second commandments, Yehovah’s basic instructions!

“I am Yehovah, thy Elohim, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shall have no other elohim existing before My face.” (Exo 20:2-3)

Thou shall not make for thyself a carved image”any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; thou shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, Yehovah thy Elohim, am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. (Exo 20:4-6)

I knew I had seen this phrase many times and decided it would be worthwhile to find out where; this same phrase is used only once in Torah and many times in the tanach.

But Yehovah came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men [be·ni’ ha·a·dam’] had built. (Gen 11:5)

Oh my – be·ni’ ha·a·dam’ is not “the sons of men” it is “‘the man’s’ seed“! And that man is the one whom I wrote about several weeks ago “who became the first of his kind,” AFTER  his fall. It was this man who could not be permitted access to the tree of life because he had become a creation that Yehovah never intended.

Remember: Ha·a·dam’ was created in Yehovah’s likeness and His image; he was Yehovah’s seed which had glory, and honor and immortality. But because of his actions, he became enosh – mortal man. He died a spiritual death that day, and probably did not even know it. And now, instead of being Yehovah’s seed, His kind, he became belial’s seed. And, as we saw in verse 1 above, this new kind of man is now producing other men, other seed, in his image and his likeness (not Yehovah’s)!

But Enosh’s first-born son, Cainan, began to turn “the sons of men” to the “service of Elohim.”

Yasher 2:12 And Cainan knew by his wisdom that Elohim would destroy the sons of men for having sinned upon earth [nothing has changed], and that Yehovah would, in the latter days [the latter days of the antediluvian world] bring upon them the waters of the flood.
13 And in those days Cainan wrote upon tablets of stone, what was to take place in time to come, and he put them in his treasures.
14 And Cainan reigned over the whole earth, and he turned some of the sons of men to the service of God.

Oh, so cool! Cainan treasured the word of The Elohim and turned some of the sons of men (ha·a·dam’ seed) to Yehovah’s service! Now compare this last verse  (14) with what I found in Psalms.

… Help, Yehovah, for the god kind [חסיד, khaw·seed’] ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men [a·dam’ be·ni/seed]. (Psa 12:1)

Both of these verses contrast those involved with Yehovah’s service with “the sons of men.” These two groups of men are diametrically opposed to one another.

I love this word khaw·seed‘. Ha·a·dam’ was created in the image and likeness of Elohim; he was Elohim kind. But after the fall all males, you and I, are born as belial kind (wicked kind who serve other elohim).

But here is the good news of the kingdom; we, belial kind can once again become Elohim kind and once again be transformed into Yehovah’s created image and likeness which has all the glory and honor and Immortality that we were made to walk in.

“Gather to Me My saints [חסידי, my khaw·seed’, literally, “My kind“], who cut a covenant with Me by slaughter [זבח, zavach].” (Psa 50:5)

This covenant, which is cut through slaughter, only happens once a year, and is referring to the Passover slaughter; it is the time that the Ger can become the Ezrach, Elohim kind.

Well, we will talk about this more in my video teaching below. Please join me as I go through this week’s material.

Enosh – Mortal Man

“What is enosh [אנושׁman, pronounced e-noosh’] that You remember him, and the son [בן– ben] of man [אדם – adam] that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the Elohim (God, not angels), and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen– even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. O Yehovah, our master, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!” Psa 8:4-9

“What is enosh [אנושׁ man], that You should exalt him, that You should set Your heart on him, that You should visit him every morning, and test him every moment?” (Job 7:17-18)

“Thou turns enosh [אנושׁman] to contrition; and says: ‘Return, you son of man [אדם adam].” (Psa 90:3)

The psalmist quoted above wrote what is enosh [אנושׁman] that You “remember” and ” visit” him? Yehovah, our Creator, made the man to have dominion over the earth. Unfortunately for men today, this is not the case because of our rebellion to Yehovah’s ways and our love for the ways of men.

Yehovah is mindful of the enosh (אנוש] who will humbly make His ways their ways, but not men in general. He does not even hear the prayer of a man who does not love His Torah, His instructions concerning how all men are to live and guide their families. Knowing who we are in relation to our Creator will give our minds a clearer image to build His truth on and the right attitudes to commune with Yehovah as He desires.
